I haven't trawled through all of the posts so I am not sure if somebody has already posted this! My son is Lego mad and is desperate for the Earth Defence HQ which is about £77!!! I signed up for a Very account having found a code online and got £30 off my first order over £50. They also had 20% off lego sets and I went through topcashback so, I ended up getting the set for £27 hurray!!!! Mum also did the same and got Sonic Boom and the Space Center for £23 each. Makes the whole lego fascination much more affordable!!!!

My DH may get some lego in his stocking thsi year The look on his face when DS7 didn't need his help to build his birthday pressie was heartbreaking!

Thanks, I've just ordered one! The Argos one will be going back once the one from the Hut arrives, as it's £8 difference! And they take PayPal at the Hut! Just saw after I ordered that you can sign up to their newsletter and get £1 off next purchase, but can take up to 3 days.

And may have to plan a trip to Boots tomorrow. We have a small one in our town, no toys, but there's a larger one about 30 minutes away.

In my local Morrisons yesterday I noticed they had some Lego Duplo sets on special offer between £4 and £6 - can't remember which sets - if i'm back in tonight i'll have a proper look xx

Duplo is the perfect start for small hands. Start with a basic box of bricks and a base, and then look out for whatever is on offer.

My DS1 has a couple of these books, he has the Star Wars ones and the Harry Potter, if they are the big hardback ones then I would say yes, they are for all ages DS1 is now 12 and still likes his lego, hes been getting it since he was about 4 or 5 we've done City, Harry Potter the first time around, Pirates, the Alien one, Star Wars, its definately a timeless classic, though I've realised that Christmas day can be one big building day and for each 100 pieces in a set it takes roughly one hour - I'm an expert now;)
