bitsnbobsbuyer wrote: »Lego Star Wars Brickmaster for £8.55 @ Play.com using 20% discount code. Posted on HUKD by avebell.
Link to HUKD post which also gives discount code details:

Believe the code is one use only on Star Wars products so could give you discount on other lego star wars sets if you prefer something else...
Thanks, just ordered, but had gone up to £9.63 with discount.
Still great though :jMy countdown to christmas 2011 began when I discovered this forum, thank you everyone! :rudolf::xmastree::rudolf:0 -
Has anyone got the play.com code to work on lego? Doesn't work for me."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

Also there's a Hello Kitty range by Mookie which says its compatible with other brands:

Lego city and creator have a wide range of sets suitable for boys and girls. e.g.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-7639-City-Camper/dp/B001U3ZMEU/ref=sr_1_1?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1315484973&sr=1-1

If anyone know of any other sets or ranges for girls I'd also be interested
This made me really sad to read. Since when did we start only buying pink pretty things for girls? And since when has regular Lego been just for boys? Lego is for all CHILDREN regardless of gender!
Neither of the girls in the adverts below from the 1970's seem bothered that the Lego they are playing with isn't specifically targeted at girls or boys.0 -
I'm buying Lego for my nearly 5 year old daughter. So far I've bought Lego City and Pirates of the Caribbean ready for Christmas. She's quite girly in her tastes e.g. pink and princesses but also likes running around and getting dirty! I bought her a pink box to start her off on Lego, as I thought the pink would get her interest, which it did. When looking at the catalogue she's shown interest in the City and Pirates of the Caribbean themes. I've also bought her a Toy Story set. When I was a girl I really liked the Lego City theme, but I don't think there was a lot of choice back then! I also have a nearly 18 month old son, so he'll be playing with whatever I buy in a few years time. I do notice that Lego is often listed as 'boys toys' when shopping online. I think Lego was one of my favourite toys!!
See there are Lego Fire Trucks 7239 on sale at £6.50 some Tesco stores from Hot UK Deals http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lego-fire-truck-7239-tesco-instore-6-50/1010678. If anyone finds some instore in the South West, I'd be very grateful if you let me know! Checked my local, no sign there.0 -
Not lego as such but maybe a good one for an older child (maybe not for younger as they look edible, but I came across a seller on facebook making lego men soaps, only small actual lego size so I ordered 10 for £1.50, plus £1.99 postage for up to 5 bags, they have just came and they are great little stocking fillers, got some for my nephew and son
Here is her webpage and it will direct you to her fb page where she has her lego mhttp://funandfancybaths.co.uk/default.aspxen areThrifty Gifty Money Making =£280 Sealed pot challenge 1192 Toluna = 77339 Bingoport = £10 redeemed + 33470
