    Is this compatable with Lego?
What was the promo offer? I' know I've missed it this time but useful to know what offers to look out for in future.

    Great threrad BTW.

    Hiah,
I must admit I haven't actually opened the boxes to check, but I've just had a quick google. The Entertainer website says 'compatible with other brands of construction brick'.

Promo offer was an introductory price. Bumblebee was £19.99 instead of £29.99 and a few others were reduced.

Thanks for a great thread, I'll keep checking back for more Lego/Kre-o bargains
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:
  • Hi all
I don't know if it's been mentioned before in this thread but the Gimme Lego blog, written by the excellent DrDaveWatford, has a Bargain Hunt page that updates the best Amazon Lego deals every day. His threshold for posting a bargain is usually 20% off, but he aims for 30%, plus he's a Lego expert so knows when Amazon has inflated the RRP.
Hope this helps someone grab a Lego bargain... I've bought a couple of things afetr seeing them there.

Try the Boots sale. You can have it delivered to store to save on postage charges and you can get Quidco cashback. I collected some Playmobil today.

Thanks, I did go in first thing this morning and picked up five boxes for playmobil bits for 13.13 which I paid for in points so didn't cost me a thing
  • Forgot to say in Argos they are selling a Lego City Fire zip bin for £8.99 from £19.99.

I have just come back from Boots with a couple of bargains :-) Lego Duplo Play with Letters (6051) £6.39 and Lego Duplo Box (5416) £3.58. I went in last week and didn't find anything but thought I would have another quick look today so keep checking for the last few bargains being put out in the shelves!

I was just going to post the same thing. I'm just back from Burnley where I got the Duplo letters and Duplo Box along with

    Lego Duplo Maters Yard 5.37
Mega Bloks Mirco blocks scoop in blue 3.83
Mega Blocks Micro blocks scoop in pink 3.83
    Lego Prisoner Set 3.58
    Lego Brick box 3.58
Lego Duplo Lightning Mcqueen desert set 3.45
    A Peppa Pig clock 2.57
And a pink mega blocks bus 2.05

Just checked my receipt I paid 38.23 but got 152 points! So 75% off. That's lots of christmas presents sorted.

They also had boys watches and barbie sets, lots of toys all reduced.

    HTH
  • I'm not a big fan of Argos (their online ordering system drives me nuts - "Sorry not available in that Store" - "Then tell me where it is available then!") - but they do have some good discounts on Lego from time to time. e.g. I picked up the Lego Star Wars Tantive IV (Princess Leia's ship) for £85 - it's now £123 at the Lego shop . Best to sign up for their emails and then check when you receive one.

Lego shop do 10% discount for (Merlin) annual pass holders also.

Me & my daughters are big fans of Lego (particularly Star Wars) but what frustrates me is the inconsistency of the prices in the UK. Brickset lists the RRP for both the UK & US and with some of the sets (Hoth Echo Base, V-Wing, etc.) we're paying more in £ than the US dollars!
  • This thread has been fantastic thank you for all the Lego Duplo bargain posts!

Another store to try is asda living and find their toy clearance section, I picked up loads of different lego duplo bits half price or less last week they have a cardboard box set of bricks (90) for those wanting to stock up on basic bricks for £14.99 which I thought wasn't too badly priced.
