So my goods arrived from Worldstores, two parcels, both items broken. I emailed straight away and got an auto reply stating my email would be responded to within 72 hours. 9 days later and several attempts to phone their rate per minute customer service line, who no one ever answers..I found this forum. I thought emailing the CEO etc, then it came to me!...
I private messaged their FB page with photos of the broken goods and explaining the situation and that if I didn't get a response by the end of the day I would put the photos on their FB page. I had a message within an hour...Job done!..Way to go!
As a follow up, By 5pm, I had a full refund!!...and an apology!...recommend this is worth trying0 -
Ah I should research companies better before using.
I ordered bunk beds and 2 mattresses on the 12th. No mention there will be 2 deliveries as they come direct from the manufacturer.
Delivery confirmed for the 15th - bombarded with emails and texts to sat delivery late afternoon. The beds arrived at 11am no mattresses. Driver tells me they are coming tomorrow. I ring the company they don't know when they are coming but promise to email me and let me know. They arrived later that day (luckily I didn;t go out).
On showing the OH the boxes I spotted 2/3 on one on 3/3 on the other. Realising we didn't have the whole bed I checked what I had signed for and see only 2/3 was dispatched and delivered. On the phone to the company once again.... Took them a while to understand that a box wasn;t merely missing they hadn't dispatched the entire bed (who does that). Spoke on the 16th in the evening and was told I had to wait 72 hours for a response; I said I would call back on the Friday. Called on the Friday evening and told the would come and take the bed away and completely replace on Tuesday (today). I declined as have medical appointments so agreed on Wednesday. They text me tonight to say that the order hasn't gone through and they will be in touch.
Since Friday I have been on their social media accounts and vented my annoyance. I have been offered a £16 refund. I have waited in for 3 days with a 4th to look forward to....
I have also complained as I am 8 months pregnant and the bed was dumped on my door step. I thought that they would have lifted it into my home for me.... all other heavy goods deliveries I have over the years have been into my house not on my doorstep.
I intend on using social media to it's full advantage and see what happens.... watch this spaceSPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250

Congrats on your impending arrival ( baby not beds!)
You need to check on websites as many will only drop goods at the kerbside, it’s usually mentioned in the t&cs0 -
Like everyone else i have had dreadful service from Worldstores. I am now trying to get my money back thought Visa Vanquis Sections 75. They are dragging their heels and it seems like they don't want to refund my £800. Anyone else gone through their credit card to get monies refunded with any success?0
