    Morning everyone :)

PP - good luck at the hospital today.

I've had an awful nights sleep, OH was snoring his head off and I didn't want to wake him as he has such a busy week. DD saved the day when she insisted on coming into our bed at 2am so he went into her bed.

Found out on friday that ds will now have 4 different teachers per week, really not happy with that as last year an independant observer queried whether he had dyslexia (I think he has something but perhaps not that) and none of the recommendations she made have been put into place (like writing him out an independent task sheet before he has to do a piece of work) with 2 teachers in the class let alone 4. I have a feeling I am going to have to arrange a meeting with the head to have a grumble as I feel they are letting him down and I have heard she can be really unacommodating when she feels like it. Anyway it's all churning up inside of me. I would so rather have him at home with me as he hates school so much and I worry about him so much.

DD and I have to go to Mr t's, I'm taking cash for what I need so I don't overspend. Still need to do more Ebay listings and clean my oven (oh joy!) and then use up the last of the turkey in a pie for dinner tonight.

Have a good day and hugs offered to anyone that needs them :)
  • Morning all! We're back to our usual routine today, so lots planned this week.

Took down the decorations yesterday, so they need to be sorted out and repacked for the loft. I need new boxes as it appears that one of them collapsed since last year, smashing 10 of the baubles.

DD is being assessed for her Baden Powell challenge at Guides tonight. It's the second highest award (after Queen's Guide) so she's nervous, but should be confident. She's worked hard for it, and learned a lot of skills (including pot holing   ).

Had a friend round for supper last night, and as he didn't leave until 11, I have the kitchen to tidy. Have started it, but most will be done after small penguins off to school.
Had a great time in Old London Town. Thanks to Rzl for the TFL info :T Shez, we managed to get past passport control at Watford, without too much difficulty :D;) Tamsin Greig stole the show, and was fabulous, as were the rest of the cast.

Must run, hear russling from upstairs...........

Havre a great day, Penny. x

    Hiya everybody,

It's about 5.30pm here. Just walked home as a storm is brewing and I wanted to rescue all the clothes on the line before it came down. It's been really hot today so not at all surprised with the storm. Plumber didn't show  so another phone call tonight. Have just put the water on to cook rice. Tonight I'm cooking sweet & sour meatballs & you need to put the cooked rice into the mince mixture.

If it rains tonight don't think I'll bother with going to the house. Might start packing up some gear. Decisions, decisions. :D

PP good luck with the doctor's app today.

Have a lovely day everyone & ((((((((hugs))))))))) to those poorly. Byeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Good morning everyone,

Welcome stornybay, hope you will be happy to join us xx

PP - hope all goes well at the hospital.

Well, another bad night here (not unusual i know) had trouble getting to sleep, then kept waking up!!! But, im up now, and how nice its been not having to make the lunches (did it last night).
Have 2 little ones here today, one due in the next 10 minutes so just relaxing with a cuppa before she gets here. We are going to a childminders group this morning, went before christmas, but felt a bit 'left out' so will see what its like today - its difficult joining something new when everyone else is already established, and im not the most confident of people.
Also need to dust and hoover (as per flylady) but got all the washing and dishes done last night, so already ahead of myself (which is very unusual!!!)

Right, better get ready, hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all - very quick one as I said last night it's back to college for me so not sure I'll be able to post much for a while.
Taplady - some people take two weeks for weight loss efforts to show (whether good or bad) So if you KNOW you've been good, stick with it.
DLB - what's your new quit day? ;)
Penny Pincher - thinking of you hun and sending you warm wishes.
those with 'spotty lotties' - on the plus side it's winter so much easier to keep them cool than in summer! Hope all recover quickly and only have a mild dose.
Cheerio, love and hugs to all,
    Kaz x

Morning all, can't believe I made it to the first page.

Good luck at the hosptal PP

It's back to normality today with all kids back at school. DH will come home around 9.30 and he has an overtime shift for tomorrow.

Not a good nights sleep as next doors alarm went off again at midnight. No one lives there so it was going for a good 20 minutes but I still managed to get out of bed on time so I'm quite impressed with myself. I may have to take some painkillers before I start on FL though as my back is still playing up after a month :(

    Have a good day all.

    Thanks Donna,

I prob dont come across as not being confident, but its easy with 'virtual' friends, not so easy with others!!! And not going out to work (people come to me) doesnt help - ive not worked full time for 10 1/2 years now (worked Saturdays for about 6 months in between DS and DD) so not worked out of the home for 8 1/2 years. Also when their dad left, that really dented my confidence, especially when i saw *what* he had run off with!!!!
Anyway, im happy now, which is the main thing!!!!
