If Argos did cancel all the orders made last night, surely they could of at least emailed us about it, I presume mine is cancelled but I haven't heard anything yet.

Argos have been sending people emails confirming that stock will be available on 11th September. Different people have reported this independently.

The person who represents Argos on Facebook is probably just some 17 year old scrote who knows nothing - Tesco and a few others employ some of those to post things on Facebook as well. I never believe anything I see on Facebook, even from Friends!!

John Lewis sent me an email last week stating that Touchpads were never coming back into stock. I successfully ordered one on their website yesterday lunchtime...

Comet are getting stock on Thursday (150 x 16GB, 150 x 32GB). However these are probably all covered by existing orders placed last Tuesday evening. There MAY be some surplus, but I doubt it.

There MUST be more stock out there. Not every Touchpad in existence will have been in retailer stock last weekend. Some will still be en-route from China, some will be in the UK supply chain...

More Touchpads will undoubtedly be available. HP would not get away with landfilling stock in 2011 like Atari (allegedly) did with surplus Atari 2600 machines and cartridges in El Paso, Mexico in the 1980s.

lol love your post lets hope you are right, as for landfil I think there would be blooming uproar if this was the case.

A friend had a mail also saying no stock for september but confirmed for October, guess all can live in hope

wooo hooo!! The one I managed to bag from JL yesterday is now marked as despatched and I have a tracking number!! Was really worried as I stoopidly chose free delivery (MSE habit), but looks like one is finally winging its way to me.

I keep missing this, daminit!! Have to go to bed now due to little monster getting me up in a few hours and between my hours with my monsters (lovely children.....) I keep missing every offer on here! Going into meltdown now LOL! Wish I could be online as often as I used to be able to, would love to get one of these for my Mum
