I think this was just a glitch though. I reserved one in store from Argos earlier in the week and couldn't pick it up on the day I was supposed to, but they were happy to hold it a further day for me when contacted. Which they certainly had no obligation to do. So overall I'm pretty pleased about my recent Argos experiences.
Im very pleased for you.0 -
I didn't expect my Argos order to go thru so not too bothered. Hopefully some more stock will filter thru.0

I think I deserve an A+ for effort. After having missed the tablet opportunites all week, I got back from the pub last night to a friend's house and thought I'd check MSE before turning in - and subsequently spent 45 minutes trying to purchase one from Argos using my touch-screen phone - the slow 2G net connection, my having consumed several pints, and my ropey eyesight (the main reason why I want a tablet!) made this an epic process. I finally got confirmation at 1.45am - still awaiting the cancellation email today.0

Then I wonder why you spending time reading and replying to this thread?! Too bl**dy right i want one now they're reduced. I personally think £400 for ipad, iphones etc is over-priced and a complete waste of my hard earnt cash. Thats not to say that i don't have a deep appreciation for the technology. I may be skint, but it doesn't change the geek within!November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.
