Well did a load of decluttering today, and some flying in the kitchen. It's a tip. And I'm furious I'm going to waste food that will have to go out as we are both away. Grrrr.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

On the basis that DustyK says I can post anyway ........ I was incentivised (that must be an Americanism) to try to get through my Dailies - think it is 6 down and 4 to go.
By the way DustyK - Lincoln.
LW this is not exactly a spoon, but .......
Hi there MrsC - glad you didn't desert us - and as I think I live in desert land you can get a scrutinised cleaner around here for about £10 an hour - so DS1 is better off working for you me-thinks!
Cat Smith - hope your enforced holiday is not as bad as you fear, but meantime sending chasing away thoughts to your BD.
Off to see about the other 4 dailies.Work is not my Hobby0 -

Now I've seen how much rail fares are for the two of us my visits maybe limited!
Done a bit of maintenance flying.
Good luck to all those getting GCSE results tomorrowThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have been out all day, so not much flying here. DD1 left the dog indoors (I had asked her to leave him outside - he has a kennel), so we may have left Dover a bit earlier than we had intended, but it took us about 2 1/2 hrs to get home  (damn tunnel ). He was left for about 8 hrs (never left him that long before
). He was fine. Nothing chewed, no puddles & no presents left on the mat
He got a good walk at the nature reserve, followed by a pigs ear, when we got in
I haven't done much tonight, apart from dog walking. We had a chippy tea. I have been on the lappy, but I have done some 'work'. I have emailed 2 lots of parents who were looking for childcare on a website I subscribe to :j I shall have to wait & see if they respond.
I think I will go to bed now, and start again tomorrow. DD2 has to be at her school between 11 & 12 tomorrow for her results, so we get a bit of a lie in
Hugs, sticks spoons for those that need them, esp LW, Cat, Toots & L-L0 -
Hello,
Well I managed to get kitchen and living room/office looking fairly ok for when the OH's accountant visited this morning… unfortunately all the junk just got shoved into our bedroomNot doing lists this week as we only got back yesterday evening and I'm just doing what I can to sort out laundry etc from our visit with BIL. So today have:
sort of tidied kitchen and living room, hoovered them, mopped kitchen, cleaned bins, WM x 100, mowed lawn (which took AGES as it was about 6 inches long:embarasse:embarasse) and made a nice ornamental mountain of junk in our bedroom.
Cat Smith hope it goes OK at your parents, and hope BD is banished.
Off to bed now, if I can find it:)0 -
I haven't done anything today
I took my dad to his club and then DD1 and I had a very unsuccessful school uniform shop  All I came home with was a sore and aching knee, a migraine and a pack of shirts. I'll have to do it all again with DD2 and obviously still have to get stuff for DD1.
We then picked my dad up and took him shopping for a few bits my mum needed. Then DD1 got the bus to her boyfriend's, I took some tablets and declutter a 2 hour nap on the sofa and happily my head felt better when I woke.
DD2 had invited her friend to sleep, so a group of them went to watch the fireworks.
So apart from checking my fb, playing my games and having a quick chat with boyfriendish bloke and picking up all the kids I've done nothing this evening either
DD2's friend didn't feel well so we dropped her home0
