    Morning

Sort of lost the plot a bit, but daily stuff has been done, and generally the house is clean and tidy.

Cat has now caught 5 mice in the last 8 days, so cleaned up from those and scrubbed carpets etc as well, hopefully he will have cleared the neighbourhood and there are no more left.!!

Off to Norfolk today / over night, amongst other things, I am lead to believe that finally the head stone is at / on my mother's grave, till I actually see it with my own eyes, I won't believe it, if you remember the 1st stone mason did a vanishing act from his work, and left several familys in the situation of ordered headstones and no work carried out.
So I have some bulbs to plant around the head stone and my SIL is coming to help me as she has some more, so a sort of joint family effort.
I'll tell you if that head stone is not there you will hear me from miles away!!

    Have a good day

    Hugs to you all xxx

    Morning everyone

My internet & tv was off for a while yesterday and it was DS2 9th birthday so we had a steady stream of visitors all day. Wish they would remember him the rest of the year :( . He had one card with age 8 on it which confused him.

I'm not up to date with thread so hope all is well.

Hope things go well for those expecting results today.

    To doeys

Visit DS1 school to buy compulsory pe kit. Wonder how long it will be before they are lost.
Boys to wear in their new school shoes
Visit the store with the big catelogue to spend some of DS2 birthday money on various lumps of plastic soon to be filling for CS bag.
    Write grocery list for holiday
    Do GS online.
    Name some uniform.

Not waiting for GCSE's this year, but DS2 is going in to collect his AS results - we were away last week.

My sparkly new car won't start.:( Not sure what the problem is, was running fine all Tuesday and most of yesterday, then suddenly just wouldn't start. Awaiting breakdown people.

Sun here at the moment, so I'll hang out the washing. I want to get the upstairs all done today.

dusty- yes, it's very expensive.Well worth getting a railcard if you haven't already got one. My sistrer and niece are also considering the ease of being able to get home for weekends, and how easy it is to get there by train - students accumulate luggage. Some uni's are also well outside town, so there are transport difficulties perhaps to get to and from food shops/accommodation.

Christmas shopping next!!!!! lol... I want it all done by the beginning of November if possible so I can spend November wrapping and December doing NOTHING!

DD1's biological father hasn't had contact with her for 11 years, I tried to sort this out but he's just not interested. What makes me more angry is that he took the position as god father to his nephew! How can he possibly look after someone else child when he doesn't bother with his own??!!
DD2's dad considers them both his but rarely bothers. He's better at the moment though but thats mostly cos he's single, he's always better then lol

Mrs C, how big are the Disney cards? I have a business card holder which could fit the bill.
