Hi there everyone
Sorry to have abandoned my diary for so long...I've been thinking about you all and not feeling up to writing anything.
But I'm back. And trying to force myself to think about money again after having it on the back burner for a couple of weeks.
I need to do a total of all the debt because it's long overdue and I have an awful feeling it's not as small as I would hope it would be.
I will find out for definite on Friday what the situation is at work. The goal posts have changed again, the 'new' posts being created (i.e. the one I was going for) will not be filled. We have been told this is not a reason to be concerned but hey, what else are we meant to think? I have no clue what is going on there at all. Just need to wait and see.
There are five more weeks of uni until summer. I was supposed to get my essay grades back last week but they did not materialise so just need to keep waiting.
I'm off to visit a pal and her baby today so that should take my mind off things. Also off camping next weekend with OH and another friend. All good money saving stuff.
Hope everyone is doing ok. Need to get round all the diaries for a catch up.Have a brilliant day.

Hi there
Oh it's nice to be back!
Igamogam...I think sometimes we need a break from all this money worrying don't we? Not sure I'm fully back in the game yet but I'm getting there.
Newleaf...'think I'm going for a walk now...feel a little unsteady...' ooh how I love it! Will be digging out that cd to play in my car this morning!
It looks like we won't have to wait until Friday as a different base are having their interviews today and will be right on the phone to us to let us know what's happening. I have baited breath and the stress is unbelievable. Still, I should know today if I have some work or not, what kind of work it is and what the conditions are. All this waiting....
Also my essay results should be arriving in the post TODAY! And they better be here. And I'm not going to work til the postie's been.
Have a wonderful day everyone. If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -

Hi everyone
So sorry to have abandoned my diary. I think I'm getting back in the game now though.
Well, I still have a job, same amount of hours but with less travel and the possibility of a car allowance. So it's financially even better than before. Trouble is, everyone has left already, particularly managers. And the entire structure of the organisation has changed. And I have no idea what my job is going to look like or what I may be expected to do once it all settles. I'm hanging in there and doing what I can but in the meantime I'm saying goodbye to people I've worked with for a long time and have been unable to keep up with all the leaving lunches. It's miserable, but at least I have a job...at least I have a job...that's my mantra and I'm sticking to it for now.
I passed all my essays for uni! And did particularly well in 2 of them! I'm so chuffed to have done it and be moving on to second (and final) year. Let's hope next year is less eventful.
I have no idea what my cash looks like and I definitely need to do an updated total, a new budget, and get back to putting food and petrol money in different pots. I've really let it all slip this last couple of months but at least I know how to do it and can get going again.
I've missed being here. It's nice to be back.If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
Great to have you back Ani! I am in similar situation to you - got a job- although have more miles
and cant handle all the goodbyes - not so much colleagues but the frogs - waved one off today - moving away so has gone 'before his time' as it where and I really fear for his future as so far his receiving LEA have been useless. It all looks good for you and that is great news re essays :j You will soon be back into the swing of things and I look forward to the updates
