    Hey Ani

So sorry to hear about the job - but so pleased that today it seems like you have some options. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that the best option to suit you comes along.

In the meantime, every time the walls start closing in, just take a breath and grab yourself a cuppa. You can handle whatever comes along.

    Hugs.

Thanks so much, Nora, for the vote of confidence and your encouraging words. I need them right now and truly appreciate it.

I also liked your reminder that this is about what's best for me right now, not for anyone else or the organisation or how people might judge me if I end up signing on.

Now, if only I could figure out what's best for me...I keep hoping for a flash of inspiration but so far nothing!

I'm carp at deciding important things.

I also had my dentist appointment today for a scale and polish and some words of wisdom from a very lovely hygienist. It looks like I may be able to avoid getting surgery on my gums after all so I'm most pleased about that. Have another appointment in a couple of weeks, then I will know what's happening 6 weeks after that.

I really don't want my gums sliced open then stitched back together. Yikes!

This is all because of smoking. I'm sticking to my patches now. ;)

We sold 2 big bags of clothes today and made £7.50. :j That's OH's travel expenses for this weekend's refereeing thing covered, with a couple of quid left over just in case. :D

We managed to do some decluttering and had a trip to the skip. All gone the old broken wheelbarrow and the big wicker chest/cats' scratch post.

I love getting things done, me. :D

I've just sold my phone to mazuma mobile for £68. I just couldn't get used to it. My plan is to buy another one like my old one (which they don't produce any more) on fleabay or somewhere for cheap.

In the meantime, £68 towards that abbey card. :D

Also, OH went to visit MiL today and came back with £60 and instructions to buy petrol with it. :heart2: After a bit of discussion, we are going to put £50 in the petrol account and the remaining £10 will go to the abbey card.

OH told MiL about my redundancy today. She took it very well and didn't overreact at all so that's great. I worry about her stress levels but she seemed to take it ok. We'll both need to keep an eye on her during the next few weeks to make sure she really is ok. And reassure her every opportunity we get.

As someone who is now very experienced in hitting walls, and breaking legs when taking great leaps of faith *rolls eyes* I really can recommend taking it one day at a time at the moment.

Thinking 'important' about any decision is going to freak anyone out when they're right in the middle of a storm...so break it down into smaller decisions, and give yourself a break.

I've managed to work from home today to have saved the petrol cost to work and back. :D

Unfortunately the car is not sounding too healthy. Have booked it in to the garage to be looked at. Seems like a wheel bearing making a big lot of noise and part of the exhaust has snapped off.

I'm really hoping this doesn't cost loads...not at a time like this. :( Have to wait until Monday to find out.
