Do you cover cakes with cling film in the microwave or leave them uncovered? 've got it in the microwave now and have covered mine, wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do or not.
I've never covered cakes or puddings in the microwave. I don't think I've ever seen "cover your cake" written in any of the recipes I've used or read, either.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Microwave sponge pudding: 2oz each of SF flour, sugar, marge, tbsp milk, 1 egg mixed and poured over 2tbsp of jam/nutella/syrup and microwaved in a deep bowl(cover with cling film) for 2-3 mins. Makes a nice big pud for 2 or 4 with ice-cream/custard.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0
