If we have a red wine on sunday the rest goes in the fridge for me on monday, tuesday and wednesday. There is always left over cake, because I bake it for only dh...and there is a limit. He often takes it to work on Monday to share though.

A quick, easy treat for me is what I call 'banana smoosh'. Basically, it is banana smooshed up with a little cream (use a fork to mash it), and sweetness of some sort if needed. Usually just a sprinkle of sugar, sometimes honey.
Looks disgusting, tastes lovely!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -

Banana smoosh is one of my favourite puds. It looks slimy and yuk but tastes divine!
I make a Galette with seasonal fruits -
Roll out an oblong of bought puff pastry.
Score a "frame" about 1" all around and lightly score or !!!!! the centre section (you can gently brush on some warmed jam if you want).
Bake for 8mins while you prepare fruit. Thinly sliced nectarine + blueberries/ apple + blackberry/ apple + raspberry etc.
Quickly arrange fruit within the frame, sprinkle with sugar and return to oven for 10-15 mins."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
