my honest impression is that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! you've been fairly abrupt yourself.... but that's ok as not every post has to be a group hug!! that diversity is the strength of MSE. i know ONW didn't sugar coat things and had clear opinions, but a lot of the time just hearing cold hard facts is more useful. i think in the exchange you're talking about, some posts were interpreted in the worst way possible, which is a shame. they were also made in the context of a lot of other posts on this board (as i explained in that thread).

i think a mix of opinions are what makes MSE great. if people only want to post to get those who agree them, then that's a real shame. i think the ONW PPR relates to the benefits board tbh. i also think coming onto a thread and effectively gloating about someone being PPRed is poor form. end of. with the exchanges that happened, it's perhaps not too surprising, but it does you a disservice.
