Our local maccys was closed down not long after it opened due to an employee "waxing the surfboard" into mc-chicken sandwiches. The outlet remained closed for 2 weeks. I remember the fuss at the time.

Who's to say that's what really happened? And who's to say it didn't?

Who's to say indeed. I do, however, find it extremely hard to believe you could manage; its hardly like any part of the restaurant is exactly private, and someone might just notice if you took a tray of burgers and/or buns to the stockroom part way through the prep process...

Yes, but, unfortunately, it wasn't very funny the first time.

Useful for one post wonders who spring up to defend some scumbags with whom the rest of the human race is having difficulties, though.

There should also be a WHY in there somewhere...
    I mean really; why?

WHY would you do something like that?!
    What does it benefit anyone?

I never quite understand why so many are convinced fast food restaurant kitchens are one huge homoerotic circle-jerk.

Bit of an urban legend if you ask me.

Two nearby branches of McDs both closed down in recent years with the same rumour spread across town. I knew someone who worked in one branch though and with no incentive to lie he said it was a lot of rubbish.

Next you'll be telling me you heard a rumour that at your local BP a man climbed into the back of a car while a young lady was filling up with fuel! And that only when she went to pay for the fuel did the garage alert her to the intruder and phone the police!!

I think it pops up anytime any fast food closes for any reason for any length of time. Some people find it amusing for some reason...

So you didn't complain because you were worried somebody might apologise to you?
