Sold it for £250 to an Italian guy on eBay!
Ha! Same thing happened to me! Wasnt quite as wrecked but there were major issues, with my moped, engine had blown etc, sold to a guy in spain who came to pick it up!0 -
I sold a pair of net curtains I found in the back bedroom when I first bought my house. The previous owners had removed everything that wasn't screwed down (i.e. lightbulbs) and much that was (toilet roll holders), so that gives you some idea how manky they were that they left them!
The nets were very old and had holes in. I washed and ironed them, and sold them with the strechy cord and two pairs of screw-in hooks and eyes. The title of the auction was 'Net Curtains - Suit Student or Poor Person'.
It was a long time ago but I think they went for about £6.0 -
I have just sold an old pair of work boots. Got £3.00 They went to a guy who judging by his feedback buys quite a lot of used shoes/boots, and other leather gear.
I wanted them to go to a good home to be placed on a quiet shelf in a shed so that they may see out the rest of their lives in tranquillity.
Judging by the guys feedback this may not be the case and could be a whole new and exciting chapter in their lives.

Had I have stumbled across your listing I would have bid anyway, just to give them a new home:D

Bought a pair of trousers for £1 in a sale. Got home and they didn't fit, so put them up for 99p start or BIN £10. Day later, I got a lovely tenner in my Paypal account!
Also sold my old water damaged ipod which worked, but the battery wouldn't switch off when the ipod was switched off, so ran down really quickly and overheated, for £20 plus P&P.
Pair of tickets I won in a competition (which I was dying to go to, but they'd specified such short notice, I couldn't), sold for £30."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

To those who have sold mobile phone boxes with manuals (but without the phone or charger) - what category did you list them in?
I have a motorola V3 box with manuals, cables, earphones, case etc (everything but the phone) and an Orange PAYG Samsung S700 box (without phone or charger) which I want to put on ebay. Any ideas how much i might get for them?

I bought some software which it turned out I didn't need. I stuck it on ebay and it got into a bidding war. In the end it went for over the price I had paid for it and for more than you could buy it on Amazon. So far so wierd, but the guy who one the bid kept up a running commentary to me during the auction, and he knew full well he was paying more than he needed to.
I think he just wanted to win.
