I've just made £188 selling off the weirdest of stuff - empty perfume bottles, old trainers, broken lava lamp, a mannequin and such like.

I've knocked a month off my DF date thanks to ebay.

The key is to take good pix and be completely honest in your descriptions.

I've just dug out 7 old tax discs and placed them on E-Bay. Currently got 20 items listed (even sea shells). Will let you know how I get on.

How did you all get on with your sales. I still haven't managed to list anything (too busy researching how to on here!) but I have some great ideas now. Hopefully you'll see a post from me with some results soon.

Being totally inspired by this whole thread I just listed on eBay

My old car tax disks x3 disks - I only got a couple of quid for them...
Two bottles of perfume I didnt actually say they were empty - I got £5
    Some Teabags and - £4!!
A pack of four candles £4.40

Lol - I will let you know how it goes.

On Amazon I put around 16 books three sold

I think its not worth doing the tax disks until they are around 5 years old or older...emtpy perfume bottles are worth it as well.

Amazon is great but it takes a very long time to sell anything. I was very surprised the three sold so quickly.

Gold old PG tips...it seams people that live abroad that used to live here miss them very much so they sell quite well on ebay.
