are these books? Did I miss something?

I am such a mug, for seasons I've been throwing away my match day programmes from when I go to football - Now I get a pound back minimum from each one but never even thought to put these on E-Bay as I looked at books and magazines and saw very few buyers so never bothered.

Auto relist? I must have missed that one

I never sell clothes as we are a 2 dog house and though we cant smell anything doggy I'm assured the who family smells doggy! We wash the clothes but it must be like stable workers - the abiance just gets ingrained. Sure I miss a lot of opportunities to sell used clothes that way.

Often get put off when a sale goes bad, but reading this thread inspires me to keep on trying.
Found a phone box, too rough to sell, looked inside and found the hands free kit, selling on Ebay at 4.99

We had some original Punk rock badges up in our loft and was having a clear out.
We listed a Cure badge, The Clash and Stiff Little fingers for a starting price of £1.99 for all three.
They ended up going for £41 . The buyer only actually wanted The Cure one as he was a collector of anything to do with that band, so we were astounded and very pleased indeed :j

Hope you have Nala, good luck.
Also had Two Undertone badges, they went for £8.50 and two other badges went for £11.
If you have any Rock or Punk original items from the 70's they usually sell for quite a bit.
I remember my husband having a Queen T shirt which he was going to throw away.
I listed it on Ebay and someone bought it for £14 as they had a Queen memorabillia room in their house.
We have also sold used ticket stubs for rock concerts, programmes and photos.
  • LOVE this thread. I can't read all 81 pages at the moment but I'm going to check back regularly and read a couple at a time.

Things I've sold that I didn't think would (was honest with it all):

    1. Make up that had been used
    2. Perfume that had been used
    3. Candle that had been burnt for an hour or so
    4. Old high frequency facial machine that was obsolete, bought for £15 second hand, sold for about £75!

Am SO looking around now for some more junk I can offload.

(biggest bargain by the way was probably my DD's moses basket for 99p and I collected it so no postage!)
Me, DH and DD (17 months) clearing our debt for a better future. Then (LBM) = £21,636.43 (Oct 2009) Now = £12128.07 (44%)
    GOALS/CHALLENGES
Try to get credit card to £2k by April 2012 (was £3014.94)
PADing to clear CC 1/1/12 TOTAL: £32.00
Ditch 100 in January challenge: lost count but way over 100!!!/100
  • I sold a beautiful wedding outfit from debenhams (bought for £90) for £25 and a cheapy maxi dress which my mum bought for £20 for £50! They just kept on bidding! Felt a little guilty afterwards...but I suppose people can do what they want with their own money.

I think I have a problem with listing something that I feel is junk - and yet I want to do it to see if I can make any money. I really must have a look about.
Does anyone check on eBay to see if the stuff they're listing is already on, or do you just stick it on regardless?
