well i started on the kitchen, still haven't haven't the mopped the floor, but that can wait till later.

I swear the amount of junk i've thrown out is unreal. Its a never ending job BUT it will be done and a new kitchen it will be. Quite proud of myself as i've emptied and reorganised two cupboards.

Managed to get chilli powder all over me as a kilo bag of the stuff decided to explode:mad:. Ah well at least i didn't have to find a place to put it lol.

Now just going to chill with a cuppa before i tackle the rest of it. blurghhh

    afternoon!

didn't read or post yesterday - not a lot OS to report really, working long hours this week so just doing what I can.
Odd to work soon till 10pm.
Been to a carboot this morning - got some lovely Crabtree and Evelyn mugs for 50p:T plus to lovely bedside lamps for £1.50 - DH's has recently broken so they were just what I needed.

Dinner for DH and DS is veggies from the garden with some cooked beef, yorkshires and roasters from the freezer. Having mine at work for free:)

Its a gorgeous day here - shame I'll be at work really.

(((hugs))) to those in need, take care all x

just watched the great british bake off - i want to get back into baking, will need to give most of what i make away as i'm trying to lose weight, but it's something i find really fun so will dig out some recipies today.

Hester, the FSA recommends that honey isn't given to babies under 12 months - there is a very slight risk of them developing infant botulism from it. Apparently honey producers should put a warning on the jars.

It's very grey here today. We're tidying the loft and improving the insulation up there. WE have so much junk up there it's a nightmare, there'll be several trips to the tip and maybe some freegling and charity shopping.

Bargainbird - Pup is a fully fledged member of that club, he's not even bothered to go out for a wee yet today! He's been guarding the sofa with me. - for a working dog he really does love his weekends off!

Thanks for that Snoozer, there is no label on the jar as the honey came from a friend who keeps a hive in her garden.
