Hi all. I've just signed up to be Avon Rep today, had SL out and got c17 books to start distributing on Thursday onwards. I have spend most of the night reading through all the posts on here and my head is pickled with it all. Hopefully once I start getting books out and collecting and hopefully get orders then I'll get my head round it more.
You all sound like a very helpful bunch on here so I'll be back on regularly for tips and help
One thing I'm doin for sure is I'm getting myself a stamp made up with my name and number on it! :rotfl:0 -
Another questions is to do with self-emplyment - I meant to register today but I need to provide details of the business (address, etc.) - those of you who got self employed could you please tell me what you've put in there?
Also, I'd be careful about giving out free gifts as your customer may come to expect it every time. I've been a rep for 7 years and never given out free gifts....and it's not done my sales any harm0 -
Hi i need some help from those of you that have been doing avon for a while. One of my customers bough a Anew hand and nail cream before i was her rep and is almost at the end of it. She would like some more but i can see it anywhere. Do they do it anymore or is there an alternative? Any helo would be great.

Hi Everyone,
I read the thread now and again and I am hoping someone can help me ... I am due to submit my order the week and on the back of the HT magazine there is a "Beauty Box of 50 items for £50" Has anyone ever ordered one of these before and if so what did you think?
I am hoping to keep the nice things for me and wrap up the things I don't like for customers as a Christmas lucky dip ... Does anyoen have any experience of buying one of these and if so what kind of things do they include?
Many Thanks in Advance

Never had one before but they seem to get mixed reviews on Connects, I added one to my order so will let you know when it comes.0 -
If you can fit all the items into 1 box you can put them in together. I did this once and one of the sheets was credited and the other got re-charged a while later. However, I just got another re-charge recently and it was for all but 2 items that were all on one sheet and in one box so... It can happen no matter how you box things up. If they're all going in one box, as long as you put the (same) barcode number on each sheet that should avoid problems if you get a re-charge.
Thanks for your reply, if things do get recharged, what do I have to do?0 -
call them and tell them the barcode no on the box that the item was in.Avon Sales Leader in North Kent Since July 20110

Put my first order in - just over £188:j
But of course had problems entering a temporary address - tried submitting it several times and kept getting a message that firefox needs to resend information and then it would just crash. As I am going away abroad tomorrow and had many things to do I just gave up and couldn't be bothered to re-do all the orders in explorer, I guess I will have to call them tomorrow on my way to the airport:mad:
I tried entering my neighbours' house numbers as safe place to leave the delivery but it doesn't accept numerical characters, only letters and only a very limited number:mad:
And a set of signature from campain 15 had a note that this product cannot be ordered in this campain. Why? Because it is a back order?
My AM left me mainly brochures for campain 15 as she has run out of 16 - I had only 10 days to gather an order as I joined late in the campain and couldn't wait for her to deliver me brochures 16.
I called her yesterday and texted twice today asking her to drop in, bring brochures 17 and oversee my order placing. Guess what?? She even didn't bother to say she wasn't coming! I spent a day sitting at home for nothing!
I was hoping to leave some brochures 17 with a few customers so that they could have a look when I am away (10 days) but of course I can't as she let me down again :-(
Anyway I'll better finish packing.0 -

When you were putting the order in, were you changing the drop down box to campaign 15 for each item when you put the item code in?Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0
