Appologies now for my garbled post, but am thinking and typing at same time - mind is racing.
well i collected the remaining of my books from my new territory (sl and me now under discussion about keeping it ) and i have £104 in the 25 houses that i canvased. I really hope they let me keep this road! You can tell that these houses are trained in putting books out already. One woman is waiting for her order from june time - from the old rep. Am i right in thinking that it was probably not place by old rep. She has placed an order so i am guessing anything she needed has been reordered now. Also she has said her friend would like to order from avon too and can i give her another form - yes i can! If its not my road but the lady has requested a book from me it ok to deliver to her isnt it? Just thought that it would save original customer going backwards and forward with book each time if i gave her a book as well.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Yes, keep the customer. I am too frazzled to think straight, but she has obviously been let down and you are doing the right thing by her, and Avon.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
Any SLs around please?? I have a new starter that I need to sign. The first time she is free for the appt is Friday, but our C15 goes in on Tues. Am I better off to explain to her and sign her after Tues so she has the whole campaign? Tried to ring my upline but can't get through so hoping for a quick response here
Re C15 Clearance, I have to confess to not having used the clearance books as I had heard about the oos mascara etc and thought I would save myself the headache! I may order some bits from it and see if my customers are interested after they arrive, and definitely some Supershock as I love it!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -

Yep - anyone who requests a book from you can be classed as "friends & family" - I encourage my customers to let me know if they know anyone who needs a rep to order from. not a huge amount have - but the few I've gained this way have been very reliable and order most times, plus have a couple that take it to workAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

is she wanting to do friends & family? if so, & if you are able to, drop some books off for her to show her friends & family, then when you see her friday she should have some orders and should be able to order that camp.
I think though, that we can select the campaign we put the rep in, just change the number in the appropriate box, in which case you can still sign her friday & put her into the next campaign.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Ah Lozza, this is why we love you!
TY. Will have a chat with her now. There is no territory issue because there is nobody anywhere near her doing avon. I just didn't think it was fair for her to start with only 3 or 4 days to go.

ThanksBe careful with territory though - while it might appear that noone is doing those streets, you'd be surprised. It could well be that they do belong to someone, or that someone else joins soon and gets those streets, so don't tell her to do any streets unless it is actually allocated to her. Of course if she knows any neighbours she can offer them a book.

SMA thinks that it is all free, and ASM said nobody any where near, so hopefully a straight forward one. Will arrange appointment and go from there. I feel like a newbie all over again now as there is so much new stuff!Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0

As Lozza says, just change the campaign no. when you sign your newbie up. (Think the system defaults to the current campaign even if the deadline is only a day or so away.) I also tend to sign them into the next campaign if the order deadline is looming although sometimes your ASM will offer an incentive if they can get their act in gear and get a commissionable order in time for the current campaign.
It's worth noting that the deadlines set by Avon are not exactly hard and fast.... Don't think it's worth risking for newbies though as always a good idea to get them into the right mind set for ordering on time i.e. to qualify for their SmartStart scheme, however, if there are good incentives going I tend to say to the newbie that if they'd like to try for the current campaign then I'll get the ASM's approval to give them an extra few days.
Don't forget that we have enhanced BDBs now until C1 :T so SLs get £10 for every two newbies signed up in each campaign so it's also worth seeing if you can plan your sign-ups to your advantage as well as theirs.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
