Absolutely Pixtotts - Avon is still missing things from its core ranges so it's a shame they don't put their time and money into expanding those (even though I realise making your own stuff is more difficult than just picking a supplier!
)
I understand that having more items in the brochure will encourage sales of those things, but following that logic we could go the whole hog and be like the Tesco Extra or Argos catalogue! Why not do pet things, car things, children's toys, things for the garden. Even if they just stuck to smaller items to make it easier for us, the list of other types of things people want to buy is massive but it doesn't mean Avon has to branch into those areas.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Ok just a small update. I am the happiest bunny ever. FINALLY after 6 months exactly now, I now have Avon connects working properly. No call from anyone to say this has been sorted out but can only have been done in the last week as checked last week and still was not active. Oh well its sorted finally.
Hope everyone is doing well and sales are looking good for last christmas orders going in over the next couple weeks. I will be looking forward to hopefully starting sales leadership after christmas so looking onwards and upwards to building up the business a little bit more. Happy Monday everyone xx0 -
If I processed something as returns tomorrow, and my next delivery dates are 12th then 30th due to Christmas, would I be okay not actually returning stuff until the 30th? I have a customer who has a £100 order and is paying in instalments (yet to materialise) and I just can't afford to cover the shortfall this month.
I have another household where I received 4 orders, 1 has just cancelled it but the other 3 are still outstanding.

I'd do the returns/pay off the rest of your balance as late as you can. Then from that date you have 36 days to that should cover 2 delivery dates, maybe even 3 at this time of year if you do the credits at the right time.
I wouldn't be surprised if they got re-charged because the boxes aren't going to have much time to get from the couriers to the depo before the 36 days are up. However that's not a problem with the right paperwork.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I'm doing vlogmas this year, which is where you vlog every day in December. With an Avoning theme of course! It's "A month in the life of an Avon rep" so if you search for that on Youtube you should find me.
It's partly inspired by the latest recruiting adverts, which are outlandishly unrealistic so my videos will be a reality check. Maybe not that interesting or shiny but that's the point.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. Very interesting to see how others do it. Will be following you throughout December. Always like to learn new things and see if I can do things differently to make life as a rep easier. Ty0 -

The household of 4 orders have cancelled them all. They haven't the money to pay today. That knocks about £50 (customer price as there's fixed discount stuff so not sure yet) off my bill, plus I have other returns so I might just have enough money to cover everything thing without having to run to the bank to pay stuff in. I have some personal stuff going on ATM and I haven't got the time to get to the bank to pay the cash in before bill is due.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Yeh I always find over the short campaigns it isn't easy to get to the bank to get the money paid in at the best of times, especially as I usually deliver about 4 or 5 days after getting the delivery so that cuts down the time even more.
Hope everything is ok Nicki xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
ive still yet to pay my bill and my order is due to go in on friday so will have to sort Thursday for sure as too busy to get to bank before then now. i do try pay it within 4 days of getting order received but hard sometimes when you cant deliver to people all at the start and some make you wait a week to deliver to them.0

Well I've put the 'official' returns through and its saying I have until the 18th Jan to return stuff. So I'm going to put the £100 order through as a return on its own, then if they can't pay by the 17th Dec (the deadline I've given all my customers to pay by) I can return it when my C2 order arrives on the 30th.
I've had this before with this customer, they're great all year but come Christmas they start delaying payment
