    Hey all,

Does Avon still give you your own webpage to set up within their site? I had a look but couldn't see one any more.
    :)

Avon don't quite provide us with an editable website/web page but you've got the following:

    - your unique POB url to direct customers to. On the rep homepage, click on the cartoon woman if you can see one, or look for "POB Hub" to find out how the POB works.

    - your Connects profile. Some of this information appears in your profile on Find a Rep. The public can search Find a Rep to find their nearest one. I'd also make sure your profile within the rep suite (separate to Connects) is up to date with the right phone number etc... Once you're eligible for customer leads, go to your profile in the rep suite to opt in. The opt in box will be greyed-out until you're eligible.

    - SLs also have their personal recruitment page.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • I've read a few of these posts (including the first) and it's so helpful :) I've always wondered how to be successful with Avon and I think a lot of these posts can also help with success in other makeup sales, too! Looking forward to reading these hundreds of pages HA!
Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough. ♥
  • Hey
I thought I better let you know the lowered MOV seems to be C1 - 3 not 2-4 . My C1 order was - £62 and I seem to have earnt on it which was a very pleasant surprise.
They should really make it more clear!
I'm going to recommence the daily emails to my ASM today too in the hopes she might get back to me before I start C3... :/
    x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....
  • Oh my, I've chosen the wrong time to sign up, with a 7 day deadline for orders AND over Christmas! Whoops. If I knew I'd have waited another week. Looks like I've got my work cut out for me but fortunately this thread has given me some great info so far and will be digging through the previous threads too when I have time.
At least the sale should tempt people, eh!

well I've scraped it to HOV even though i had thought there was no chance in hell i would make it. did it by £11 on customer orders so happy at least and only 14 orders so one good thing will be it will be nice and restful for me with hopefully NO stress delivering.
I tried the 2 day delivery option and went ok. Most were happy with it. Did get a couple not in even though they said they would be but was still stressful but think that was because the time between delivering and paying was too short for my liking and gave me no time for the stragglers i sometimes get.
IF something is not in stock and my total goes below £150 does that mean my % goes down too. Im hoping with my brochures ive ordered and the £11 over the total the customers ordered i wont need to worry about it dropping below but always good to know.
Hope everyone else has finished their christmas preperations, I had the maddest day today FINALLY finished my present shopping but still have the food shop to do tomorrow morning and not looking forward to it.

Good luck Raevolutionary it might be a tough start but keep at it christmas has been slow for me but im hoping new year will pick up again. Welcome to the Avon club

    Merry Christmas everyone

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I put my C2 order through yesterday and it was just supplies for me for the year (based on last years purchases/stock levels) yet I found myself searching for items to put it over £50 so I would at least reach MOV. It was at that point it suddenly dawned on me that everything on my order was "no discount" anyway, so why add stuff I don't really need :rotfl: Supplies/books came to £48 but hopefully that's it for the year!

I bought a 'wallet' to keep my float money in. I have one already for storing notes, but I keep bags of £1 coins & £5 notes in as 'petty cash' so I always have some available for delivery night and they were getting mixed in with my 'cash from customers' stuff so I was getting confused. This way I hope to keep my petty cash & cash from customers separate and therefore only pay in what I get from customers and not leave myself short of change like I've done a few times this year. All other coins are kept in a plastic box, sorted into little bags. Make making my change bags up much easier ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Welcome Redfalcon.

There are lots of tips in the first post of this thread. I've also written an intro guide for new reps that just hones in on what you need to think about when you're starting.
