I skipped C14 as "summer holidays", today I put in my C15 order and its nearly double what my last few normal orders have been
:j
C16 will be a recanvass of ALL my roads, minus one or two houses. I have 240 books sitting here waiting to be prepared. I would have done back order books but it would seem everyone around here knows everyone else (in some cases related) and last time I tried having 2 different sets of books out I got complaints because of the differing prices and offersNot chancing it this time. For me its not worth the hassle of getting grief. I do think I may have over ordered, so I've just ordered 100 C17 books
:rotfl::rotfl: If I need more I'll just have to absorb the cost.
My target is a "Avon price" of £700 before Christmas which is the highest to date. Having lost one of my best customers over the summer (she's moved to somewhere well out of my area
) its going to be a struggle, but I'm aiming high

Pips mum - an other idea - I tried a couple of years was if they spent £10 in a particular campaign they got a voucher for 10% off, to spent in certain campaigns (I limited it to 3 consecutive ones). Made a difference for some customers, they spent the £10 (which they wouldn't normally) then spent a little more than normal when using their voucher to make the most of it. Made no difference at all to some customers mind you, who spent £9.50 so didn't qualify. Means you're giving them a discount and reducing your earnings but at least you won't end up completely out of pocket.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

most recently when they reallocated areas last month.
General question for everyone (including Pip's Mum): is Pip's Mum referring to a major change in territory allocation? Have people had to re-confirm their streets or had any removed from them?
I ask because I heard rumours in about June/July that one was coming. My ASM said she'd not heard anything. I know SMA has been re-jigged just in the past month. Another rep in a different area sent me a copy of an email from her ASM saying she needed details of streets to get ready for the upcoming changes. I haven't had to do anything, although my ASM double-checked everything when she started a couple of years ago so maybe this area's better organised!I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone x x
IGeek - My ASM emailed everyone this last month.
"We have been told that our mapping system is changing for the better! Yippee! It will be updated with more realistic sales expectations and will also have all the new build areas on it. This is going to be amazing as if you live on a new estate you will appear on my mapping. BUT, because the mapping system is changing to PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND YOUR ALLOCATED TERRITORY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you send me an updated customer listing so that I can make sure that the correct homes are allocated to you when the system changes over. The changes are imminent so please do this for me over the next couple of days.
I can not guarantee that your homes will still be allocated to you when the system is updated"
Money maker - I agree with what you are saying totally. According to Avon my territory should bring in £150 each campaign but I seriously do not know what planet they are on as if I get half of that I am doing well! If it wasn't for my F&F orders I would not remain as a territory rep.
Lozza - I do a loyalty scheme where they get 10% off every 6th order but like your idea. I have also done free gift when you spend £15 and I never understand the people that order £14 or even £14.50!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Yeh the last few camps were a bit lower for me too, c14 was more like normal although I had picked up a couple of new customers.
Not heard anything from my asm about territory, though thankfully as I'm still a sl from Avons point of view, so means I can access sma to double check mine and husbands territory - will have to make sure I keep an eye on it if they're changing things so thanks for mentioning itAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I've not heard anything about territory either. Then again I seem to fighting a loosing battle attempting to hits Avons current figures. I now order just 45 books a campaign normally, it used to be 100!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Just to ask where is the information to say how much money your territory should earn you. I have never seen this and would be interested to know this figure. I have very few territory customers out of 140 houses/flats i have approximately 9 customers so far out of that. just got a couple more this last campaign. I am still canvassing the other houses/flats to see if i can get any more out of them but only been doing it 4 campaigns now so relatively new still. Most of my sales comes from facebook advertising which has managed to net me 22 customers so far which is where the bulk of my sales comes from.
I have recently done an incentive scheme for all customers on my facebook site 5% off if they order £20 + and 10% off if they order £50 +. It has increased my sales dramatically by nearly £200 BUT not sure if this has to do with getting an extra 2 territory customers and an extra 4 facebook customers.
I will probably try another incentive scheme for the run up to Christmas (not sure what yet) and was hoping to do a party too but bit scared at how to do one even though i have read all the tips and ideas.
I have not received any email from my ASM although I did receive one from a lady claiming to be my ASM (never heard of her though) saying about recommending people and getting goodies for yourself.
I would like to say I have re asked my SL about the avon connects issue I have been having but STILL after another week not received any sort of reply or resolution to this I am just going to give up. I've tried all ways of logging in and still wont let me so oh well guess if I don't need it for find a representative i shall not worry and just carry on putting all my effort into making the business grow.
Lozza I remember you saying you did an incentive of a free gift with so many consecutive orders. Do you just do bubble baths or do you look back at something they have bought a few times and purchased that for them?
Right I am going to shut up again sorry i always rabbit on
Hope everyone's sales pick up if they have been down0 -
RE: The New Territory System
At Live Your Dream they announced the changes to SMA. Firstly it'll now be called DTMA - Digital Territory Management Application.
The basic changes are that from when its launched (which is said to be this coming Monday) Sales Leaders will be able to allocate extra territory to all their own reps so you'll no longer have to go via the Area Manager to be assigned new/extra territory. The person who signed you up can allocate it and the only ONLY person who can remove territory from you is the person who signed you up whether they be an ASM or SL.
New reps are limited to 150 houses and can only be assigned new or extra territory if they are reaching the projected sales targets for the 150 they have been allocated. I believe extra territory can be allocated in increments of 50 at a time - although I maybe wrong on this. There is also a maximum amount of houses a rep can be allocated.
There are other changes made to the territory system but these will only really concern SL - in that they are able to view ALL vacant territory to enable them to know where to go and door knock or black book to recruit new reps and be able to offer potential new reps territory straight away in their local area.
I'm sure once it has been launched there will be details on the website for you to view. There was a detailed webinar going over all the main points for SL's online yesterday.SB 127x £5 AGC 13x £5 M&S 3x 3month XBOX Live Membership 8x £5 New LookGCVO 10x £10 AGC My Surveys 37x£5 AGCeBay 1159.880
