If you aren't moving until November, don't forget that even if the area is covered now it could well become free by then, or vice versa.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Happy, got 2 new customers from Facebook this campaign, one has shown the book to a few friends and the other to her sister, all contacted me with their order so no collecting books up, and given me just over £50 extra sales than I would normally have gotAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Well done Lozza, its always exciting (maybe that's just me) to get new fb customers.
I am re canvassing my streets and have split them to do one side a week so as not to struggle trying to canvas it all at the one time. I was going to opt to do a flyer only but after seeing comments on here decided I should canvas with c14 brochures so does not matter now if i don't get them back as I am funning C15 now. I also added a note asking people to tick if they were interested. I will keep doing this until they tick the boxes. Sent them out this morning and when i came back down the street, i got chased down by one home owner to give me back the brochure and another house leave it straight out so have ticked them both immediately off my list so far.
I was interested to read about the lottery idea and have thought about it myself. It seems if you run it as a customer lottery you can charge for tickets, but only for your own customers and from your business address (home for most). bit confusing if that means you run it from the address or if you can only hand over a ticket at your address.
Does anyone here do a stall on a market. My SL was talking a little while back about having a new stall set up locally to me and asked if i could be interested. Not sure if it would be worth while at all. She reckons she has one at another location and does well out of it but sometimes think the details are somewhat exaggerated to gain interest. Obviously it would only work if there is a local interest (which there is but not sure if there is enough) as it is a smallish market on a local high street.
One last thing I promise. I love this site and have had such fun reading all of the posts (Well almost all, there are 185 pages now to get through lol) Keep the advice coming as this newbie enjoys learning lots of new tips from you all. x0 -
I've heard of some reps doing market stalls and doing well, but I suppose it would depend on your area and the cost of having the stall and if it would work out worthwhile for the amount of hours you'd be there. Certainly wouldn't commit to it for a long time just in case.
Might have another customer as an existing customers (from Facebook) neighbour has requested a brochureAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this. I have a major issue with avon connects. it has never worked as i signed in with avon as a customer to view find a rep years ago. it now says my connects is de activated and every time i get Global support to investigate i get an email saying its active now but it never is. I just had the 4th email go thru to them to re connect my account but they are so unhelpful and no one listens to me that this is now urgent and this has been done 3 times before. I had to hang up on them in frustration and am at a loss as to what to do. I have had my SL involved and she has not been able to resolve it and my 4th campaign is nearly up which means my find a representative details will be activated but was always told that if you did not log in at least once a wk to that it would not activate. Would like to be seen by any potential customer so is my only option to set up a new email address, have a new account number etc as though i was a new rep starting. Has anyone else had this issue?0

Firstly, just to put you at ease re. the "find a rep" feature: going on Connects once a week has been taken off the criteria.
Here's what they are at the moment (much more relaxed than they used to be):
Be registered on the Avon website
Association with Avon for more than 4 campaigns
Have no outstanding balance
A minimum of 2 orders in the last 3 campaigns
Have award sales of at least £156 in last 3 campaigns
Most importantly, are you still able to log into your rep suite to place orders, do returns etc... If you can, try accessing Connects through the link in the top right on the menu bar. You won't be asked to log in because you're already logged into the rep suite.
If that won't work, you could try starting a thread on Connects as a customer headed: "FAO Helen@Avon" and then explain what's going on. She's one of the mods and has helped out with account issues (or at least passed people onto the right department) in the past. I'd do this on a weekday because they don't work weekends and might miss it.
Good luck getting something sorted, but as much as I use Connects, as long as you can work your account and appear on "find a rep" that's by far the most important things sorted.Although I don't know about anyone else, but since they relaxed the criteria I haven't had a lead (over a year now) and even before the leads were mostly dead-ends tbh.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Help, Help, Help!!!!!!!!!
I submitted my order this evening and now a Customer (who has ignored 2 door knocks, 2 please leave brochure outside remiders AND 2 text messages from me:mad:) has just text to say she does want to order.
Is there any way I can add to the order once submitted?
She is normally a high value customer so dont really want to upset her but my total order was only £54 and I doubt hers will be the MOV so I wont earn any commision on either order but will be paying extra for delivery.
What would you all do?
Thanks in advance x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I cannot answer the question about adding to an order as I don't do Avon (just a nosy lurker) but I would say that if she regularly orders large amounts and you usually get a nice commission from her then consider a very small hit just to keep her appeased, particularly with Christmas coming up.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I think you can call the helpline and an advisor can add it to your order. I've never had to do it so I can't say for sure, but I think I read that on here a while back.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
