    Oooh sorry another question!!
Was quite surprised to receive with my first order a single brochure for 55p when I didn't order it! Rang up and was told it would be added automatically every order and I would have to return each time for a credit if I didn't want it - what a faff!! I don't see why I need it, much better economy to buy the packs?! Do you keep them or return them?

Sale books get delivered automatically when you order your main brochures. Most brochures through the year tend to have a sale
Book, but on the run up to Christmas I don't tend to put them out in case people order presents from them that are out of stock. Mind you, last year I did and I'm glad as all the stock problems seemed to be from the main brochure!

When ordering from sale books you just put it through as if it were from the main brochure.

When you get sent a single brochure you can return it - it's the only time we can return for credit. I order all books on my account, so Dh always get sent one. Just return it using code 55 - not ordered but delivered & charged for. I assume you're either ordering brochures further in advance than avon would like, or not far enough - if you order the middle set on the website (usually highlighted in red), then you won't get sent a single brochure.

Oh I think it must be because it was only my second campaign then so books came from my sales leader - she gave me 7 and 8 and I have just placed my second order (from 8) and ordered brochure 9 with it. That wasn't highlighted in red though but 10 was I think.
So in my avon account it says campaign C09 and I am waiting for those brochures to be delivered tomorrow to put out to customers.
Then when I place the order on 15th May I would order brochure 10. Is that right or am I 'behind' where Avon would like me to be?

Avon likes us to order brochures 2 campaigns in advance, so when you're ordering from c9, they like us to order c11 books - it means you always have the next campaigns books in ready so you aren't waiting for them. On the week In between submitting my order & getting my delivery I use this time to package up the books ill be putting out next, I don't have to wait for my delivery to do this :)

Oh I didn't know that!! So should I order 10 and 11 next time or just skip straight to 11? And how does that work with customer orders as I won't be able to place the order for an additional 3 weeks .... sorry this is so confusing!!

You don't actually hand the books out any earlier so don't worry about that, it just means you'll have the books sitting about in the house ready for when you need them, so you aren't waiting for your delivery to give you the next books you need.

Next time you place an order I'd just order the extra campaigns that you need. Not everyone orders the books in advance, but I find it makes things easier as you can get them packed ready instead of having to sort your delivery & do you books all together.

I,Geek I have just had another 3 or 4 roads added to my area which is great as I am getting more people in my first area say no, I would rather cover a larger area but only to the people that want them so hopefully I can work a larger area harder.

Thinking ahead to the long-term, it's well worth re-canvassing people who said they weren't interested (unless they were rude). I did this for the first time on people I'd last called on 2 years before. Nobody was rude and I picked up new customers from this group who were definitely the same people from last time. It went a lot better than expected so I'm looking forward to my next section to re-do. There was one section of about 30 houses where I got 3 new customers who spent £150. :)
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

So... who of the sales leaders on here actually managed to get through the c**k up of a booking system they put on this year for LYD?!

No as ever I won't be going - although I haven't recruited since last year as I haven't had the energy. It wasn't easy to book then I take it?
