Not so bad then if she is prepared for the fact that you might not have a big enough order this time to actually put it through - though as you say you have to do it sometime so at least it's given you a push I suppose :) just be prepared if your order is small to let them know and not be pushed into ordering below mov (£80) as you won't get a discount.

  • if you are below £80 it is worth topping your order up and doing returns though - at least your customers will get their products when you said they will and you'll still earn.

Oh right, for example if i only get £75 worth of orders- order something that will take me over the £80 and then return it later? Wow thanks :)
  • Yeah - 90 day money back guarantee with everything - and if you put your returns through online before your next order is due you won't have to pay for them, great way to get some demo products for pamper parties, or just boosting your sales - good way to sell perfumes - buy them from the HT and take it round your customers offering them a free squirt of the new perfume on the cover, if they like what they smell they are more likely to buy it than just using the scratch n sniff page. :)

  • Hello - This is my first campaign and it's not going that well. I'm not impressed with my sales leader - takes days to get a hold of her, doesn't answer phone or emails, if she says she's going to do something she doesn't. Talked to her last week and she was going to drop around books, nothing.

How does one quit Avon? Do I need to call Avon? Do I just not put in orders? I don't want to be charged for this sign up fee, I'm already in the red from petrol money, stationary and baggies. (doesn't sound like much cost but I'm looking for a job right now in the meantime with no income coming in so every penny counts.)

    Thanks!
  • You only pay the admin fee when you put through an order, so you don't need to quit exactly.

Would it be worth you signing up with a different sales leader who is more supportive?

Can you contact your area manager? When I first started my SL was, shall we say, as much use as a chocolate teapot, but I built up a really good relationship with my area manager and became a Sales Leader myself quite quickly. It could always be that the next person up from your SL (e.g. their SL) could also be useful, as you will ultimately be contributing to their profits, so it is in their interest to help you out and/or encourage your SL to help you more.
Good Luck, don't give up yet!:j

If you want to pm me your area code (if you know it), or if not just your postcode, I can look up your area manager for you - it's usually worth going over your SL head if needed to get the support you deserve. But as said above, if you don't put an order in, you won't get charged the admin fee - I'd just make it plain to your sl that without some help you won't be submitting an order - if you don't order, they won't have earnt a bean from you joining so it's in their interest to actually do their job and support you.

    Hi everyone

I have collected my books and my total is £37.27 not sure if this is good or bad for a first go?

Should I order more products then return them later? or just submit?

    Thanks
  • order a few perfumes and maybe a handbag you could demo for a couple of weeks before returning, should help boost your order next time. :)
