Oh and your last post brings up something else: was your daughter under 18 at sign-up? Did they create the account in her name or yours? And if they put it in your name did they know it would still be your daughter doing the work (since that was the original plan)?

SLs and ASMs simply can't sign up an under-18 and even if the parent signs the forms, if they know the under-18 is going to be doing the work they shouldn't carry on with the sign-up.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

No we were in it together, my husband was working 70-80 hours a week through the summer getting a job finished so I was glad of something to do. Job finished now he's walking the dog carrying the Avon bags:rotfl:

Oh right, so it was sharing the workload but the account was still in your name?

    I have a bit of a quandary :o

I'm submitting C5 today, and as I'm going through my orders I've noticed that one of my customers has completely ignored the make-up offers. She's ordered over £50 worth of make-up but I work it out at a much cheaper price due to the offers. Just to add to things I have 2 of the items in stock & there are creative ordering opportunities as well which means I can get it down to £26 brochure price :D But now I don't know what to do.

    Do I:
    1) Apply the savings and charge her £35 - therefore making me £11 profit at brochure price plus my discount (Earning £17.50)
    2) Don't apply the savings and charge her £51.50 which is what she's calculated it at- therefore making me £25.50 profit at brochure price plus my discount. (Earning £32)

My business head can't make up its mind, the extra money would be fantastic, but at the same time if people miss freebies/offers I usually apply them but have been seriously considering not doing that any more as no-one seems to notice! They only seem to notice if something works out more than they expected or they don't get the freebie :(

The same household has also put in another order for £30 worth of stuff! I'm torn :(
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    That's a tough one.

I have two types of people those who if they haven't spotted an offer I do creative ordering and gain myself and then there are those who I say to I'll check the other book and if it's cheaper I'll order it out of that one for you, that way they always know they are getting it at the best price and place regular orders.
The chances are if it's in the current campaign she won't see the book again it would be different if it was in the next campaign then she would be miffed.
Also think will you be starting something for the future.
I sometimes wonder if people write down the individual prices but expect the offer to be taken into account when the items arrive.

Tough one Nikki let us know what you decide to do:)

Sorry I was no help at all!

This is what I do..... if it's a deal in current brochure, I would give them the offer.

    Times when I don't are....
    - if I can combine customer spend to get an offer (i.e. buy 2 get one free)
    - back ordering at a cheaper price - figuring they could have bought it themselves last time but chose not to.

    Good luck x
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

If its an offer they've missed I always give them the offer/price they should have done - as its Sod's law that the one time you decide to let them pay what they think, rather than the brochure price, is the one time they'll question as to why you've over charged them

If thats happened to me I normally give them some free products but charge them what they think they are due to pay if you see what I mean??

E.G My neighbour orders every 3/4 campaigns this time she ordered 10 fragrances but has missed off all the free items she could have had with themin the book she had. In this book they are 2 for £13 so I am ordering 8 from the 2 for £13 offer making me some extra profit but then ordering 2 with the free products which I will give to her so we all kind of win!
