    Hi Youngmum!

I just do Friends and Family and not streets, I manage to make about £20 - £40 a campaign sometimes better sometimes worse.
As for the books, once you get them back you just chuck 'em, or of course you can give them out again! I only get about 5 books a campaign and then just keep giving it out un til it can no longer be ordered from.
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700
    :TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!

Hi, I have decided to stop selling Avon as I just can't fit it in.
I have offered to sell any avon stuff i have to another avon lady but shes not come back to me yet- am i allowed to put my area no on here in case anyone wants my books? I have 2 3 and 4s on the way plus samples book bags and paper bags and dont want to see the money i've spent go in the recycling!
    Thanks.
Ps if i just stop canvassing and only do an order when i hit mov via friends etc how many campaigns will i need to do in orderto still be classed a rep?

NO idea about whether you are allowed to put the area number on here sorry.

If you order every third campaign that should be enough to keep your account open without incurring any charges. Don't forget if you are giving up a territory to let whoever you joined with know of this so that they can get the area released on the system :)

    Hello People ! I have a question!

I have just input all my Camp3 Orders so far. I have input 2 free nail sets and 3 free eyes set as part of the free gift promo if you spend a tenner.

Im a bit confused because on the 'view subtotal' page it only shows one eye set and no nail sets but on the page before (the one that doesn't have prices) it shows the correct quantities. Anyone else had this, does it happen with offers like this previously, but its all ok in the end. I just don't want to let my customers after free gifts over Christmas been out of stock !

    Cheers muchly, Sam

Don't panic - sometimes the subtotal page does show things up funny - wrong prices etc - so long as those items are listed on your ordering list, then that's what should be ordered - just double check that if its the free gifts, that there has been enough money spend on qualifying products, if there hasn't, that could be why they weren't showing up properly.

I was just wonder is there a way of saving the ebrochure or pob onto harddrive so you dont need internet to view it as there does not seem to be an option for this unless i am missing it.

Not as far as I know - but would be interesting if we could, perhaps someone more IT literate knows??

    Morning everyone :)

Potential newbie rep here. I work 30 hours a week (shifts) as a nurse so want it to be able to fit around me. Don't plan to canvass door to door. Was hoping to just take a brochure into my work and gain orders from there and also my partners work etc.

Do you think that would be enough to generate as least a little bit of income?

Also, I know you have to buy the brochures etc. What do you do with them when you get them back?

Many thanks for any advice you can give.

    :)

If you mean what do we do with brochures once they've been finished with - just recycle them, we can't return them for credit.

And yes, as said above, it's perfectly possible to make an income from selling to just friends/family/work - just keep a note of how much you spend on yourself, if you order yourself lots of products, obviously there won't be much money left over so you might think you've not earnt anything! :p

    I've tried:

    - Copying and pasting code of e-brochure (every last bit of it so it should be identical) into a plain text document and saving it on my harddrive. Then I did "open with Google Chrome" but it's not opening - just a rotating 'thinking' circle.

It makes sense that Avon wouldn't allow people to 'save as' for their own harddrive to protect their copyright and brand identity.

Can I ask what you'd need it for, if it's for viewing offline?
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Well we only just had our avon delivered this morning, he had to to abandon his van at the bottom of our street and push it up on a trolley. He said there was lots he couldn't even do that with cos there streets were even worse. Would usually be delivering to customers this week, but have contacted them all this morning to let them know it won't be till next week (apart from the two in our street). As while most of the streets are ok, we found last time it was walking on people's drives that was most dangerous so not risking it this time, they can wait. Everyone has text back saying they didn't think we would be delivering in this weather - so If you have snow, don't be afraid to put yourself first and delay deliveries, taking collecting books etc. not worth risking breaking any bones!

I did just that, Lozza. Picked up a few brochures but some left to do tomorrow on tricky roads. Must admit, bit disappointed with orders so far (C4). Couple of years ago or so I took DD on the sledge which was fun but she's all grown up now and goes to school (reception year) so I didn't see the fun in going without her.
