I don't like the resealable bags as I don't think people take the brochures out and look through them!0

unfortunately though without them, most people find that either their books get left outside (which even with a slight bit of rain ruins them), or people will keep them indoors - which then you have the trouble of having to catch someone in to be able to get the brochure back. Obviously not so much of a problem if people have porches or somewhere they can leave the brochure to keep it out of the worst of the weather. I've never found though that people are put off by having to open a bag, and if you leave the order form on the outside of the brochure, over the back cover, people can still easily see when you are collecting the brochure (if you highlight / circle on the days at the bottom of the order form).Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
oh i love my bags. In fact in obsessed.
when i first started trying Avon by helping my sis and we didn't have bags, u could tell some people hadn't even opened the book and that's without bags. Ever since we had bags you can tell which people have looked and many do. I wouldn't say a bag puts people off. In my opinion there are three types of people:
1). Those that are not in the least bit interested and will never look, bag or not.
2). Those that will look, and may or may not order. Bag or not.
3). Those that are frothing at the mouth for the latest book and would rather it not be in a bag because it adds to the time taken to get their hands on it and they end up ripping the bag off like a virgin opening their first condom.Avon Rep since 30 November 2012.

Delievery day for me wednesday and aparently nothing out of stock. exciting! lol.
i collected 20 brochures in today, well i collected 12. i put calling cards through the doors i didnt get them back from tho and will go back tomorrow for another try. no orders, although one lady told me she gets it from someone but they are stopping doing it, however if i post the next book she will take a look, so that seems promising.
i handed ten books back out and one lady who was outside seemed happy to see an avon book so fingers crossed i shall get an order or two from therecollecting them wednesday.

Hi, I have decided to stop selling Avon as I just can't fit it in.
I have offered to sell any avon stuff i have to another avon lady but shes not come back to me yet- am i allowed to put my area no on here in case anyone wants my books? I have 2 3 and 4s on the way plus samples book bags and paper bags and dont want to see the money i've spent go in the recycling!
Thanks.
Ps if i just stop canvassing and only do an order when i hit mov via friends etc how many campaigns will i need to do in orderto still be classed a rep?0 -
Hello People ! I have a question!
I have just input all my Camp3 Orders so far. I have input 2 free nail sets and 3 free eyes set as part of the free gift promo if you spend a tenner.
Im a bit confused because on the 'view subtotal' page it only shows one eye set and no nail sets but on the page before (the one that doesn't have prices) it shows the correct quantities. Anyone else had this, does it happen with offers like this previously, but its all ok in the end. I just don't want to let my customers after free gifts over Christmas been out of stock !
Cheers muchly, SamAvon Rep since 30 November 2012.

Morning
I was just wonder is there a way of saving the ebrochure or pob onto harddrive so you dont need internet to view it as there does not seem to be an option for this unless i am missing it."It is your decisions, and not your conditions, that determine your destiny".0 -
Morning everyone
Potential newbie rep here. I work 30 hours a week (shifts) as a nurse so want it to be able to fit around me. Don't plan to canvass door to door. Was hoping to just take a brochure into my work and gain orders from there and also my partners work etc.
Do you think that would be enough to generate as least a little bit of income?
Also, I know you have to buy the brochures etc. What do you do with them when you get them back?
Many thanks for any advice you can give.0
