happy new year everyone!
I've cut back on a lot of the things that take up a lot of my time - mainly collecting brochures. I don't go back a second day for them, if they aren't out on the day specified they have to contact me with their order. Also, I have encouraged a lot of my customers to directly contact me with their orders, which saves me collecting the brochures altogether, which has been a massive time saver. I'd suggest you think about the things that you feel take up the most of your time, and see what you can think of to cut down on the time it takes for them, you'll be surprised what your customers will be willing to do to help in order to ensure you stay as their repAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Just a quick reminder for people who haven't done so yet - don't forget about your tax returns for 2011-april 2012 need to be submitted by the end of this month. I'd completely forgotten about it until I had a letter today reminding me, usually I do it over the Christmas holidays but with all the time taken up with the kitchen (which is thankfully done apart from tiling which won't be done till March
) it had slipped my mind!

i don't go back a second time for books either, they get a card through on the first attempt saying to contact me if they wish. I will then collect it, but when im passing (as my patch is near, nearby family) or they can do it over the phone. I would only go back a second a time if i had a pittyful return rate and needed the books for other customers, which generally i don't as im ordering enough books for my customers at the mo. Also, when im visting family who live on my patch ill have a quick glance in everyones gardens for any books that were put out after i called.
i learnt last week, that collecting books at 10am on a Sunday morning is the worst time ever. ! Worst collection rate ever but hey my customers rang me once i put cards through.Avon Rep since 30 November 2012.

I personally have done each campaign, I mainly concentrated on people in my territory that have ordered before and missed out those that have never ordered, so that I had enough time. I have hated these 2 week campaigns especially as I didn't get books from my Sales Leader for it, which meant I actually only had a week to turn one of them around because I had to order & pay for them even though I should have had them !!. But hey, I'm over it now.Avon Rep since 30 November 2012.

yeah i am going to do each campaign as to not get confused, my sales leader says she is giving me my books 3 and 4 so at min i am canvassing some customers on my territory which i havent had chance to do yet with my books 2.
also just placed my c2 order and every item has a green tick, now its only a small order of £77 pound but this is a rare sight and has filled me with avon joy!!
hehe. i will only earn about 10-15pounds but hey its a start to my holiday fund!!
happy avoning!!! :j

I use the 2 week campaigns to order personal items for the year from the c2 book, and in theory all the bags, calling cards, etc that I'll need for the year. I don't put the books out to my customers as these 2 campaign fall over Xmas/New Year and the back to school week which with a number of parents on my territory I prefer to leave it and enjoy the time with my daughter
It works for me.

That sure is the beauty of avon. i am a single mum and im at uni full time so something which fits around that is very good for me, even though i dont earn a lot, i would struggle to find a 'proper' job to fit around me.
i think my mailplans been lucky with the 2 week campaigns really as my c2 was 3 weeks and order was in yest so i got all my orders in b4 xmas for that one and the 2 weekers fall after new year so im not stuck having to fit them in over the busy festive period.

Name change - did this over the phone because I thought it would be quicker than doing it online. A week later and it's not changed online. I ring up and it's changed at their end but the esuite and Connects seem to run on a separate database so I had to do that myself, which surely they should have known?
Yes, they should. It would have been quicker to do it online though, that's seen as a Rep's own space for personal info to be updated without Avon being involved. If Avon started updating that, they'd probably soon be receiving "my website has been hacked into" sort of calls.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
