Can't get Internet on my laptop at the moment and I can't add it to my order without the code
86694 - £1.60
Try again in the morning too - seems to be quite late i.e. 9.30/10'ish by the time they switch to "Today's Offer"
Tips for SLs: It's always worth adding the Daily Deals to your own order so you can log the code nos and pass on to your team members if nec. (Also, if past experience is anything to go by, they can be back-ordered too....)

Hello All * waves*
Just had a ruddy good read of this whole thread so i thought it was only right i introduce myself after lapping up all your valuable info and knowledge!
Quick run down of me:
Never done Avon before, became a rep in June so started on C10
C10 for me was £42.49
C11 for me was £169.01
C12 for me was £186.41
C13 for me was £243.43
Sadly i feel i did not have the new starters bonus explained to me very well so therefore i missed out on the £150 sample pack and the £50 credit, as you can see had C10 been my mov of £78 i think im right in saying i would have got it? Tad gutted but doubt theres a lot i can do about it now.
My territory is a nice area, i initially started door knocking one weekend all dressed smart and smelling good, sadly too many women were out shopping, men answered the door and said " not interested" So with an area of 140 houses and only 20 books, back to the drawing board i went.
I did introduction slips and popped back out again. I opted for the push n dash method and got my 20 out, continued like this for 3 weeks and got my sad lil first order in.. Very gutted but knew i had to start somewhere, show reliability, pleasantness etc etc.
Anyway on next campaign i did some slips again, went onto diff area of my territory and did the " should you not wish to receive " etc on my slips to test the water.
I do advertise on facebook in some lil groups i am in and thats whats saved me as one girl often orders minimum of about £60 £70 every time, the 1st i think was £130. i have about 4/5 family friends that order now and then but nothing major. I have only ever served in total about 15 customers but as you can see ive not been going long. I could do with some more customers in my area but i do have about 10 regular ones now which is nice.
Although i hadnt heard of creative ordering im hoping this will definitely help me in the future. I actually looked after a customer the other way round the other day and saved her money, although i could have earnt another £3 in commission to me it meant i made her smile, she saw i had gone to effort and she regularly puts in £30/£40 orders. Hopefully this will bear me well in the future :A
I have about 50 books out at the moment, trying different things and left them with people for a week, i collect them all on monday so if people havent left them out i have plenty of time to pop back and get them before orders due in. I have done 2/3 day drops before but some people said not had time to look through them so i feel i may have lost out.
My main reason for posting this, longish post was for new people to read, in the sense that 2 campaigns ago i thought " ive walked 5 miles im seeing books in the rain put out straight away, im cold im drenched and ill earn a fiver, " sod it ill give up, but i havent i have persevered with it, gaining a few extra customers each time, some small some big but ive also shed a stone and im getting out and about more. Its enabling me to gain a few treats each campaign which im planning on doing Avon hampers for xmas for my family which i know they will love. So even when sales seem a little low, just give it time, mine arent nowhere near where some peoples are, but those people have probably been doing it a hell of a lot longer so i dont get disheartened by it i just see it as a bit of a goal. Im happy being a rep i dont intend on moving up the ladder as i have other things going on so if i can earn a bit each month and lose a bit of belly here and there then it cant be that bad!
Look forward to continuing to learn/share and compare in future with you all xx2025 Wins ::

Hi and welcome always nice to hear from new reps
as you've found Avon can be worth it with a little work. Soon well have the Christmas gifts in (eek!), and you'll probably find your sales increase a lot on those brochures
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Hi MsG,
Welcome to the thread and yes, lots of changes.... hopefully most/all for the best! Sorry, can't help being nosey... why 'in a few weeks' - is that your choice? If not, hope your SL is worth waiting for.
Good luck this time round with Avon.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Welcome Smamfer too. Perfect example of 'Never Give Up'. At LYD we had a motivational speaker, Ian McCann, and that was one of his bye-lines. He posted up his name as Ian mcCANn
I mportance of Positivity
C ourage creates success
A chievement begins with a goal
N ever give up
and then added the second 'N'
N eed to work together.
Ian's life has featured in the Press extensively due to the problems he's had to overcome - from physical abuse by his father, mother killed by the 'Yorkshire Ripper', put into care, got into drugs, ended up in jail.... list is seemingly endless but he has overcome all that and more. Definitely 'food for thought' and puts our 'normal problems' into perspective.
Good luck to everyone with your Avon businesses and.... NEVER GIVE UP.

Bit on the quiet side in here recently. How's everybody finding things?
I've just done C14 deliveries and am putting out brochures for C15. Really excited about this brochure and will be interesting to see how it does for orders. Had 'the one bra' delivered with my order (HT16?) and really impressed with how comfortable it is. Also the Andre Boots (HT15) but not tried these on yet.
Will be planning my recanvass soon as really want to use C15 for this.
How's everyone else doing? Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I've taken C14 (delivery arrives tomorrow) off as I'm running round like a headless chicken trying to get DD ready for secondary school.
She started summer school today so I have about 5 hours free but so many things to do this week I won't get C15 out until next week. I do have a couple of orders that need delivering, from people who have phoned & requested stuff. Can't wait until I can start putting the Christmas themed books out
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
