Was that for a SL website or a Facebook page? It's just that almost every single FB page that gets linked to on Connects has the word "Avon" in it, and it doesn't appear to be getting followed up, which is odd seeing as they're on Avon's official forum. The more it doesn't get commented on, the bigger the task will be for Avon to stop it - seeing as FB pages must be popping up all the time.
I don't want to create a problem for myself in future so I use all original photos and have kept "Avon" out of everything, but it's frustrating to see loads of people doing what we've been told not to do (and making themselves more search-able because of it) and - for the most part - getting away with it.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Avon in e-mail addresses - reps/SLs on Connects have reported getting an e-mail recently asking them to change their e-mail address.
I have got Avon in my email addresse, didnt realise it was potentially a problem until I read on here, not had an email about it and my ASM and SL both email to me there. Will wait and see, don't really see why its a huge problem but I agree I Geek it would be frustrating places where it could be searched and located easier eg Facebook.
Had a really good last campaign, best since I have been back doing it, taking each one as it comes and just seeing how I go especially as I only do F&F still at the minute. I did get my Stationary items free, Thanks to whoever advised me it was across 2 campaigns, fairly sure it was Lozza but apologies if it wasn't.

I agree that the e-mail issue seems harmless enough. Avon just don't want us looking like employees even though we can still put "Independent Avon Sales Representative" in our sig, but personally I don't feel at a disadvantage compared to reps who use it so I don't mind if they do.
On the URL issue it would help if they were more clear. A SL on Connects asked about this at a SL conference and was told to watch this space - the kind of vague thing we're used to hearing from Avon so I guess that means this is going to be up in the air for a while longer. For now I'll keep "avon" out of things mostly because it'll be a pain in the bum to re-do. Thanks for the heads-up about approved images Cosmeticreps - will look into these even though I like to do my own images to make things more unique/personal.

I'm the same, mine is avon at "my personal domain", I was signed up by an ASM and all 3 so far have emailed me at that address without saying anything, its also the contact email avon have for me :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hi Aesop:j - long time 'no see'. Hope AOK in your world.
That books sounds a good read and, obviously, food for thought. We certainly get to know a lot about our customers.... never thought of writing it all down though.
Let me know when you're ready to join the ranks again and I'll be up like a shot!

Totally agree with you. There are photo's on your website, which are approved for us all to use so I stick to those plus any I take myself of course.
Pretty sure it would be an easy matter for Avon to clamp down on all the FB sites contravening the T&Cs - websites are another matter.... Maybe as we come across them we should report them - yes/no?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

ASMs have a different set of rules to us so.... it could be that they don't know about this and/or they're so busy doing other things that they don't care about bringing your attention to it. SL Helpline do occasionally make mention of it. Better to be prepared for when they clamp down...... sure it will come.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

My ASM said using "avon" in an e-mail was fine for reps, but when I reported this back to Connects someone from HO quickly put me right.
Once again it seems messages are being sent to some people but not others. This has happened on a few topics - for example on Connects someone will say they've had an e-mail about something and some people say "me too" and others haven't had anything. It doesn't seem to be split between reps and SLs - it's a mixture of people getting/not getting messages.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here.
