Not having any luck getting in touch with my SL/ASM (not quite sure which she is!)
Due to collect my books tomorrow and still have no idea what street/numbers I should be doing since I've obviously been given the wrong info...Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Hi, could anyone help me please. I have delivered the products from my first order and payment is due to Avon by Tuesday. I have something I need to return and I was just wondering how I do this and how this reflects in what I pay Avon? Do I pay Avon the full amount as planned and then when I get my next lot of products delivered, return the items and receive a refund that way? or do i deduct it from the total I pay on Tuesday? Sorry if this doest make much sense. I will as my SL but didnt really want to bother her with it on a saturday night lol Thanks! xxLBM AUG 2009 - Debts £20,000+ Debts now 13,582.06:j Seven Debts Paid Off :jSnowballing to pay debts - Muffin V's Catalogue [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE] £1480.000

Returning an item
- go to "my orders" then choose "credits" from the drop-down menu.
- Use the search box with green "go" button next to it to find the item you want to return - just put in one keyword from the name and you should find it.
- follow the steps to submit your credit request, and make a note of the "your cost" price of every item you're returning.
- then do "balance" minus "your cost of items to return" and whatever figure you get at the end, that's what you pay Avon. This way you're only paying for the items you've sold, and are not paying for the items you couldn't deliver/have decided not to keep for yourself.
- box it up and hand it over on delivery day. Put a barcode on the side of the box (see the back of your invoices for barcode slips) and make sure the last 4 digits of the barcode are on your returns forms. Make sure your copy of the returns form is signed by the courier and kept in a safe place.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

When a SL on here gets back ask if they can PM you details of your ASM. They're the only ones who can allocate territory after sign-up anyway. Or ask on Connects starting a thread "need ASM's contact details". You'll need to provide your postcode, but I think the first half might be enough if you don't like the idea of giving out too much info.
If it turns out your direct upline is the ASM and it's them who's ignoring you, then ask again on here or Connects for your DSM's contact details. They're the ASM's boss and should prompt them into answering your question. Copy the DSM into the next e-mail you sent your ASM (if you've already tried lots of times to contact them).I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. I have decided that I won't be an Avon Rep after all. I can't get a hold of anyone to help me (turns out the woman I spoke to is an ASM), I just collected my books to have no orders and some abuse for putting them out in the first place.
Now if only I could find someone to call to tell them this....Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Try not to be disheartened Drea. It has been the weekend. I had this the first weekend with my ASM but she was apologetic and answered my questions when I did get her (it took about 4 days including a weekend).
In what way were people abusive with you for putting out books? I haven't had a bad response from anyone (luckily) although a few said they had a rep or never opened the books so I said I would make a note and try not to drop at their houses in future.
Found out that someone is canvassing one of my streets so I have emailed my ASM. Found a couple of her books when I did another sweep of the street for books not left out the week before. Not very happy about it but though I had better let the ASM deal with it. Has anyone else had this?
Thanks

Balance will update on the site the day following a payment. So, pay £10 today and the balance will become correct tomorrow. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

There could be a few explanations for this:
- she's a rep who got the customers through networking/advertising
- she used to cover the street, returned it to Avon but kept her customers - this is allowed even though it does make things more difficult for the rep who comes along later. You'd just canvas around her customers - but call on them a couple of times a year to make sure she's still going. I've got a few streets like this and picked up customers around another rep, and eventually took them on when they left.
- allocation mix-up - for some reason the street wasn't saved in your name and got given to someone else
- going where they like (either they've been told to or have assumed)
Either way going through your ASM is the best route because they can decide once a for all who should be covering the street and hopefully the other rep will listen if the ASM says they can't canvas for new customers there.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here.
