I wouldnt bother with a picture as itll be expensive to print.
How about something along the lines of:
Hi I'm fuddle your new Avon representative. I hope you enjoy browsing this brochure. Avon sells a lot more than just make up - including jewellery, children & men's toiletries, and branded items like storm, Morgan and playboy.
If you already have an Avon rep please tick here
If you don't wish to receive future brochures please tick here
If you want to receive brochures in the future please tick here
Many thanks for your time, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me on x.

Fuddle.
Oh that is brilliant! Thank you
Having spoke to my ASM I feel like I can do this. I'm going to put my all in to it. I have 130 houses in my immediate location. I'm thrilled and now feel a little bit empowered. I think I have been 'sold to' but that's no bad thing because she's left me feeling like I can be a success.0 -
Another thing to mention - I'd highlight on your order forms the bit near the bottom saying please leave outside along with the day you'll be collecting (and the cash on delivery bit too do people know you won't take cheques). If you can arrange it so the note & order form are outside the brochure (but inside the bag), then it's easier for people to see when you're coming for the book, in case they're in a rush and means if they're interested it's obvious when they need to put the book out.
Good lucklet us know how you get on.

I realise this post might look spammy, but I found someone who does videos on Youtube (and from there went to their site for more info) that I thought might be of interest to reps and SLs alike wanting to promote themselves online.
She talks about Facebook, Twitter, website design, the tools she uses (often free ones like Hootsuite), and I've found them relevant to either myself or my husband (self-employed as well) or both of us.
There are free hour-long webinars on her website that go into more detail on certain topics. I followed a LinkedIn one and got my husband listed as no1 for about 10 keywords associated with his profession.
She sells much more in-depth tutorials but there's a wealth of free information out there and it's been enough for me to be getting on with for now.
Her Youtube channel is getthedash and from there you can follow the link to her website.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Were you absolutely sure another rep is actively working the entire street - i.e. re-canvassing as well as serving their existing customers? There could be good reason for the street not being allocated to them anymore.
On one of my streets someone said there was already a rep and I wouldn't find any more customers. I double-checked the street was okay to do, and found more customers.
I'd try not to take what people say as fact because they don't know how Avon works behind the scenes. Ask your ASM to investigate first - ask the other rep if they think the street is allocated to them, are they going to re-canvas? If it's a yes, then you'll need new streets, but if not the street needs to be given to someone else to find new customers.
No unfortunately my asm did check and said there had been a mix up with territory , both times lol. and lord knows what was happening when they tried to give me my existing territory lol xxVirgin - £0 :j, HSBC overdraft £630 - ??% AER, Barclays - £4,527 - 0% APR, DFS - £1500 - 0% APR

After 3 and a half years, I am finally giving up Avon after C6. I can't take them losing my returns anymore :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

Need to toughen up. Delivered my first brochures. Very nervous. Two caught me straight away and said they don't do avon, not rude but forceful. Still, 30 mins after I'm feeling a bit queasy after the confrontation. The thing is they're well within their right to say no,I'm just too damned shy and quiet to do this!
I'm telling myself that if I can just get over this initial campaign, get an idea of who I am bothering and who wants to order, I'll feel better.
I did a little printout (thanks lozza) and put to tick if they don't want to be bothered. My brochures are in plastic bags and a note to say could they leave them out for Thurs AM.
If there's any brochures not left out I'll just have to leave them. I m not strong enough to knock on the door.
I've gone from feeling empowered this morning to feeling like a timid, silly mouse and I don't want to quit. I need to get some confidence. I think doing Avon will be good for me. I just find the whole thing stressful! I'm just a nice pleasant, quiet, shy woman and it's held me back all my life0 -
Aww, fuddle, don't put yourself down - I'm mega nervous about going out tomorrow to deliver orders (and I know they'll want to see their orders, so they [hopefully] won't be awkward), and I've spent most of my life in doing volunteer work from door to door, so please don't feel silly.
I'm sure it'll get better as you get used to doing Avon!
The few I've had that returned the book to me straight after I delivered it were pretty pleasant - one said that her aunt does Avon so she gets it from her - but if you do get ones that are slightly awkward, a nice manner, accepting the book back and a smile often makes them feel that they've overreacted!0 -
I was exactly the same, Fuddle and still am when recanvassing several years later. Those that 'catch' you and tell you they don't do avon are doing you a favour. You can knock that door number off your list so you don't bother them again until you see a 'sold' sign outside!
I find that talking to myself helps, ensure you greet anyone who is outside their house (charmingly disarming) and keep a fixed smile on your lips. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
