Could be a glitch in the system - id say check in a couple of hours and see if it's sorted Itself out. If not I'd try contacting your sl / area manager see if they know anything.

Well, well, I'm an Avon representative :) not got many books so better get on with it if I want orders! I only have around 70 houses to deliver to but will ask her for more for next campaign when I can get more books.

Is that likely to be the normal allocation of houses when you start up as a representative - 70 houses? How easy is it to get your allocation increased?

I'm seriously thinking about working hard at this. I would like it to be my 'job'. I'm committed to putting in the hours but afraid that Avon will limit me and my enthusiasm. Is that likely to happen?

I might have been wrong... I have numbers 15-122 of one street and numbers something to something of another.

I was thinking of them as along one side of the street as that's what the SL mentioned but now I'm wondering if I'm actually supposed to be doing the even and odds... hmm. Only I could get confused about this :p

I don't see them limiting you though, if they have the territory they'll hand it over :)

Generally when you first start you'll get 100-150 houses depending on what is avaIlable. Then after a few campaigns you should be able to get some more, if it's available, up to about 200-300. Depends a lot on your area & manager though. There's other ways to get customers though, Facebook, is a great way to do this amongst other ways.

I'd check on your house numbers - sometimes its all the numbers, other times it is just the odd/even, depends on postcodes as to what is allocated. If you've not been told otherwise then I'd assume it's all the numbers, odd & even.

Are Avon Reps allowed to do Avon parties at all?

I had 250 houses assigned to me right from my first campaign, and my Sales Leader was amazing, she gave me 100 C6 books and 60 C7 books just to get me started, besides all my order forms and brochure bags.

So I guess it depends on your area and/or Sales Leader as to how many houses and books you get for your first campaigns.

P.S. Fuddle, yes I think so, as in the HT mags you can buy 'Party Invitations'.

Yep parties can be very popular and Avon are currently encouraging us to do them.

How many books you get depends on who you join with. as a minimum you'll get 20 for your first campaign and 20 for your second, order forms & calling book (note book to record where your books are) and some leaflets & booklet about Avon. Anything above that is extra provided at the cost of you joined with :)
