i!!!!!!!!!!! wrote: »thanks - sat and updated my calling book this evening so am all good to go now
got loads of new territory so will hopefully have a few more customers before christmas as well
mc - you are so organised - i wish you were my sales leader x
Thanks, always willing to help anyone whether they're on my team or not (and my team does sometimes grow because of that). Strange how some people are suspicious though - I was canvassing for new recruits in a local village recently only to find that it was actually already covered by a local farmer's wife, who lived miles from the village and was still doing paper orders. I offered to go back and show her how to input her orders online (she did use the emailing facility at the local library) and she looked at me like I'd grown an extra head! :rotfl: Left her my card but she never came back to me.... hey ho.... some people you just can't help.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Yes, these have been popular with my customers despite C18 not being great in general for me. I've got 11 ordered and 4 are going to customers. The rest will come in handy if backorder ones in C1 are delayed.
Yes, am with you. Good way to earn a little extra. Am surprised they put the Extend mascara with it though and am fairly sure a few of my customers will be wanting to return the Eternal Magic purse sprays they bought a few campaigns ago now....

xmas cards
I hand write (x 65!) a 'Thank you so much for your Avon custom. I very much appreciate your continuing loyalty'. I wrote them in september & rather glad I did as avon has got a bit busy now.
Item OOS
I had my on line invoice showing the country rose (?) fleece as being RED CROSS OOS. I tried to contact my customer to let her know, fortunately she was out. The big red cross has suddenly morphed to a wonderful GREEN TICK. Just to say really, this xmas stock situation obviously can change unexpectedly, & maybe best to wait until the order actually arrives before telling customers their items are not arriving.
Customer from Connects
Picked up my 3rd customer from Connects. They're always miles away though. Anyway suggested she would be welcome to actually come and collect catalogue, order etc from my house & she's agreed. Said she's just relieved to get a reliable rep which is nice."Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Hi guys,
2 things... I joined the avon club in the last campaign and made a nice sum (about 350 or so in orders) which is great, but I'm really trying to streamline things. The SL who saw me said about splitting the area on two books. Do any of you actually do this and feel it's successful? Any tips? It just seems to be so much more difficult in terms of getting books in and out again.
Secondly, I have read a bit about creaive ordering, what's the in's and out's of that? Is it just a case of looking at the other book in the campaign and ordering the cheapest or am I missing the point?
Thanks in advance
PS - just collected the first half of my books and 1 person has put in an order of £188!! Can't complain! :rotfl:0 -
£188
good golly that is an order and a half
hold onto that customer and never let them go lol.
using 2 books at one time is a great way of not having to buy as many books. You can split it by area or by customer reliability. (I find it easier to do by area). its no harder getting the books in and out at allexactly the same, just ur collecting or putting out a different book

That is exactly what creative ordering is all about! Usually one of the lovely ladies here provides a link to an online catalogue which you can just search for the item in which is much quicker than flicking through physical brochure. Then you just have to decide whether to pass the saving onto you customer and become a super rep in their eyes or keep the difference for yourself!
I have half my customer on one book and the other half on another as it keeps the number of brochures I have to buy down and it seems to work fine. I've not had anyone complain. It's quite simple for me as I just have one really long road and I've pretty much got it sussed so that I run out of brochures at the switch over point so not too much faffing about.
Well done on that massive order wish I could get a couple of those!0 -
Nice order, SP. :T
Yes, makes sense to split your customer base; just takes a little more management to keep tracks on who has what books but saves you money, which is what it's all about.
To add to what others have already said, make sure you let that that high ordering customer know when you are due to deliver and be VERY careful if they offer to pay you by cheque.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Learned something new today.... :j
All reps on Mail Plan F and later, am told, have the option to input their orders up to a week early and get their scheduled delivery a week early too. Needs a special code to be issued by the SL Helpline (so needs your SL's input - chances are they won't know about this either! :rotfl:) but could be useful in the run-up to Christmas and/or if you are desperate for clearance item(s) running low on stock.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
