Yes, but the situation is somewhat different here...people are buying with the intention of being refunded.0 -
But there no stock showing up when you try to order from Curry's/PC World, I've just tried. None any where . . .
Course they may have disabled that system and are only going to sell them from the shop floor. But you'd think at least they'd say that !
From what Currys have been telling people (from earlier in the thread) they seem to be shutting down orders for it until tomorrow. Or something. I don't really know, I'm just reposting what I've heard from other forums (all hearsay at the moment).
I've made an account on Dixons.co.uk just in case that turns out to be true though. People were saying the drop might happen between 4pm - 5pm, so maybe it will.Yes, but the situation is somewhat different here...people are buying with the intention of being refunded.
The funny thing is, if enough people do that HP might just decide to delay the price drop to longer than 7 days (i.e. after DSR grace period) and then not drop the price. Would be annoying but hilarious at the same time.0 -
Is is my imagination or has the HP UK page been updated to include the 64GB model?!

argh that Twitter man has said 'not long now but can't confirm time.' It takes me an hour to get home from work so I'm debating over whether to leave and get home or not!0

If he's genuine it sounds like it might be worth sticking around
Surely they have to swap it before they all leave the office so before 5:30pm, I'd guess.

Looks like they maybe waiting until everyone's leaving work to drop the price to reduce the load on the servers. The HP site fell over at the weekend when everyone tried to buy one as soon as the price dropped . . .0
