:rotfl: lynsay... i am the same lilac/cream... but the thing that made me change my addiction was when i paid £15 for a duvet set that was cream but had the faintist of circles on them... instead of getting the plain cream cover for £5

i have plain primark ones for underneath so i don't feel too bad. the top sets probably cost about £15-£20 each but thats for a double (tho one set was for a k/s as they didn't have the double size and i really really liked it).

    i have seen a white set i like...in debenhams...£10 for a pillowcase...yes thats not a typo, and i want i want i want! but i don't need so i'm good :D

  • I don't need to keep the cot, my youngest is 15! Or should I keep it for the grandchildren? (but I suspect that's what my gran and mum thought!) It's date stamped 1931.

  • Great thread!

I do not need any more boots - I intend this year to be the first since 19??
that I have gone through autumn/winter without adding to my collection. (It made me realise the extent of my problem when a colleague complained that their daughter has more than 20 pairs of shoes/boots/trainers - I think I have more than 20 pairs of boots  )

I do not need to visit the sales "just in case there are any bargains" - 2007 will be the year I only buy what I need and what I can afford (and at the cheapest price preferably via a cashback site)

I do not need the Ipod Nano I was given for Christmas - it is still in the box as I cannot download the software on my geriatric computer. I will need a computer when this one finally packs up as I use it for work as well as personal use but I am not using the Ipod as an excuse to buy a new computer now. So the Ipod is going on to Ebay

I do not need any more books - I can get what I want to read from the library as well as there being some in my massive collection that I have not read yet.

I do not need to go and buy lunch when I have a fridge full of food at home even though those sandwiches with loads of mayonaise taste so good.

I do not need to go and buy chocolate when we have boxes of the stuff left over from Christmas even through sometimes only a bar of galaxy will do.

    Great thread!
