Does non brewed condiment work as well as white malt vinegar for the household stuff? . I must admit for having on chips, I use non brewed condiment as I hate the taste of malt vinegar.0

This is the cheapest I've seen vinegar anywhere. Hope that helps.

You have to be very careful when shopping at Lidl.
Many of the items are more expensive than eg Tesco Value or even Tesco own brand equivalent.
Go to both stores... and take paper and pen with you!0 -

Do costco have different stock in different stores? last time I went to Costco they only had malt vinegar rather than whiteI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I have two Mr T's near to me,one a metro and one a huge big store and their cheapest is 53p, they don't stock a value brand of white vinegar.I think their stock policy must vary to what the area is, and how much they can squeeze out of the customer they certainly don't have a countrywide pricing policy.0 -

Sorry, I should have stated that it is the Asda Smart Price - Non Brewed Vinegar. It is still 13p a pint. However, it is the 'brown stuff'. I have used this on my clothes for a couple of months now and nothing has stained. It gets so diluted in the washing machine, I don't think it is a problem. The 'dye' is only malt extract anyway, so I don't think it is an issue.0
