You can buy kelp pretty cheaply in Holland and Barrett, and in most other health food stores, it shouldn't be more than a few quid for about a month's supply.

As a rule of thumb with natural supplements, it will take around three months for you to see the full benefit for you. You may of course see a difference straight away, but if after three months you're not impressed with the results then it's time to stop spending on it :money:

ETA it comes in tablet form
I have just checked on the website and its £4.59 and get a second bottle for 1p so I think this is definately worth a try, it won't break the bank. I will get some on Monday Thank you:T
  • Mine grows like grass. Don't know why, would tell you otherwise. Can't have a style, else grown out in a couple of weeks.

Are you a vegetarian by any chance, all the veggies I know have lovely hair?

Don't forget biotin is supposed to take about 12 weeks before it starts to work.

No. I don't eat a lot of meat. I tend to eat fish, cheese, whole grains, pulses, nuts, and fruit instead, and wine.:D
  • Perhaps get your thyroid checked out.
Don't get your hair cut so ofter. A trim ought not be more than every 6 months for women.

I have the same problem. I used to have lovely long hair but now it's just awful, very fine and tends to break off. My hairdresser said it was so bad it looked like someone on very strong medication! I take vit B complex which I think helps. Will look for the Lee Staford shampoo
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I don't think I have a thyroid problem as its been like this for all my adult life. Having said that, since taking the supplements I am feeling alot better in myself and my little girl said my hair was looking longer!! Bless, I think shes trying to give me a bit of encouragement:A
Since my hair growing campaign started I have been so gentle with washing, drying and styling, I am sure its looking alot healthier too.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi, glad you are feeling better about your hair, when you say you are washing and styling it gently, in what way do you mean? My hair is very fragile at the moment and breaking off, despite using treatments from the hair salon and having it coloured and trimmed there. Sometimes I feel I am wasting my money.

Well when I wash it I do it gently, instead of a good scrub like I used to do, when I dry it I leave it to dry naturaly for as long as possible after gently towel drying it (patting rather than rubbing). When using the dryer I have it on a cooler setting and I hold the dryer further away and use a wide toothed comb. The straighteners are used occasionally only when necessary with a good heat protection spray. I also am not going to dye my hair with permanent dye, just use the six week ones which I believe is less damaging.I can't get away with this one as I have premature greying.

When I think about what I used to do to my hair no wonder I had breakage and split ends. Perhaps you could stop the colouring at the salon is there anyway you could do this? Surely this is a waste of money if your hair looks worse!
