Congratulations to Uolypool's kids.
Glad Noah is having a good time.

Hi all
Sorry, been up to my ears lately, also fighting with a ruddy great BD so haven't been posting, as I don't wish to drag the thread down - also, all I've really been doing is housework and taking care of Terrier Ted, nothing that would interest anyone else.
However....
Sistercas glad DH's scan results are good.:T
Molly sorry DD's results aren't what she wanted; but I'm sure she can do very well indeed with her Plan B. It sounds a good one!
*Brainfog hits*:( Sorry, I know there was a load I was going to say/reply to, but my mind's gone blank.:(
Going to go and clean the windows in the bedroom and spare room, see if anything comes back to me.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Great :j fabulous :j fantastic :j news SISTERCAS. Time for both of you to celebrate and have fun

Afternoon all,
Back from work, have put a wash on, hoovered through downstairs, mopped floors and had a tidy up, just having a cuppa, with my feet up for 1/2 hr, and will then get on with dinner.
OH is at work, and dd still out with sis, so all peaceful here
Sistercas :T:j:j so pleased the news was good for your dh xxxx
Molly I am sorry your dd did not get the results she needed, but her plan b sounds great xx
Congrats to others who got their results today.
Candy ouch !!! Take it easy xx

molly, sad to hear about your dd's disappointment, i was in her position 2 years ago and it feels hopeless but it will all workout well and her plan b sounds good
Afternoon all. Calm day at the office as the bosses are out :j Has anyone else read about the romany gypsies apparently organising breaking into houses and squatting? Scary stuff, I'm going to call a house security meeting tonight with my housemates!
OH went to another walk-in clinic today, no help again. An infection most likely caused by nurses not changing the dressing enough and why are the NHS refusing to give him the catheter bags they said they would and he needs?! Very annoyed, a massive complaint will be made!
Going to cook a big batch of something tonight, will see what needs using up then decide.
Also looking at getting a bed for my new place as mine is broken after being badly repaired but the landlord calls it "sound" :eek:Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Great News Sistercas:j:j:j
Well done to those with good exam results and Molly Plan B sounds perfect.
Back home after running around all morning but at least my hair feels good even though I have to have three different colours of blonde to make me look natural:p:rotfl:
Tea tonight will be pasta with tuna for me and DD and DGS, the boys will have bacon and eggs when they come in from tennis. My pasta will be wheat free. Trying really hard to not eat wheat at the minute as my IBS is awful. Although the stress of the last couple of days hasn't helped either.
Well none of the forecast rain arrived so managed to get the washing dry.
Off to wrestle with the king size quilt.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

I have just finished blitzing the kitchen after Dlittle Niece finished our baking session. She has very fairly divided the fruits of her labour- unfortunately DB whisked her home as we were about to wash the mixing bowls etc.Big Niece came and brought baby too,so took some nice pics of the cousins together.

Adelight - hope OH feels better soon
Sharloid - Hope you are feeling brighter now
Lame Wolf - I will send my two white dogs to chase the BD away. Along with Ted, BD will be outnumbered and shoot off with his tail between his legs xx
Many thanks for all your good wishes and positive vibes for DD. I know that she will find her way but I guess Im just so disappointed for her as she has worked so hard, but as I told her earlier she will appreciate it all the more.
No OS as such, except DD rustled up some chocolate cookies which have been snaffled.
I have been into town as I wanted to go to the jewellers to get my grandmother's wedding ring resized as I worry it will fall off my finger. However I have decided to have it melted down and refashioned which I think will be lovely. My grandmother is my guardian angel :A and this ring brings me a lot of comfort.
Right well off to think about tea for the troops. Have a relaxing evening OS friends xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
