    Good Morning All,

Didn't get chance to read or post yesterday so hope everyone is ok. Good Luck to those with exam results today.
Yesterday was manic, up at the crack of dawn getting sorted, took my DGS to nursery and then my DD to the shops for a few essential bits. She had a hospital appt in the afternoon and then we went to her ex's to pick up all her stuff up, 3 full suitcases plus a couple of boxes and baskets of books shoes, toys etc lugged down the stairs into the car. Then picked up DGS who wasn't well so straight to the walk in centre. He had had an allergic reaction to something. Then home to unload the car, DH helped and then moved all DS and GF stuff out of one room into another so that DD and DGS could move into the biggest room, Phew:eek: takeaway at around 9 ish and I was asleep for 10.
Another busy day today including, bank, post office, supermarket and hairdressers, then I have ebaying to do plus a pile of washing, praying for a fine day.
Also need to nip to Ikea at some point. Never a dull moment.
Tea tonight will be a quick egg and bacon.

Have a good day whatever your up to J x

Grey and cool here today, tipped it down last night. Training day was good, hopefully my crb will be back in a couple of weeks and I'll be able to hand my notice in :D

Good luck to all getting results today.

Plan today to crack on with the garden. My tomatoes are taking ages to go red, very frustrating. Tea is either spag bol or lasagne.

    TIREDMUM happy birthday.

Big hugs to anyone who needs one.

    Have a good day all

another sleepless night here. ds kept crying out but was asleep the whole time... seems ok this morning just a bit clingy again.

have swept and mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors and given them both a once over. need to run the hoover over downstairs but will do that once ds is playing in his room (screams blue murder otherwise :o)

not much happening here. hopefully ds will have a nap after lunch then i can too (wishful thinking)

good luck to all the a level'rs today!

hope everyone has a good day

    Happy birthday Tired Mum
Good luck to all those awaiting results x

Still wobbley here, walked to work as not feeling ok to drive and got a few odd looks, I must have been swaying a bit so people probably thought I was drunk at 8.30am :rotfl:. Finishing at 1pm as have my first acupuncture appointment this afternoon.

Flatmate has asked if I want to go see Inbetweeners later, I want to see it but it depends on how I'm feeling.

OS wise - made quick salad this morning for lunch, DW will go on later.

    Have a good day all

Ok...so poor DD didn't get the grades she needed:( However she does have a Plan B which sounds even better than Plan A. She is going to keep working at the co op (they have already offered her more hours), keep doing her babysitting and apply for an access course to start in 2012. Oh and in the meantime she has a trip to New York to plan and travelling next summer. She is disappointed but I guess this is her pathway x

Morning - hugs and thoughts to everyone, especially those getting results today.

My AF order arrived safely, yesterday and it is now all stored away. The reorganising I did earlier in the week has made a real difference - I now have about 6ft of shelving freed up for preserves and tins.

I've used a packet of pastry mix from the AF order for the basis of a chicken and veg pie, and for the top of a windfall pie (from the two wild apple trees that we found while out walking with the recycled teenagers last week).
I've still got a carrier bag full of them, so it looks like the freezer is going to be getting plenty of crumbles, etc as I free up space.

Garden tiger has not ventured outside this morning - she has been velcroed to our bed as she's not a fan of getting wet. Can't blame her really- neither am I.

Lunch will be some HMB toast, dinner will be the chicken pie.
    Have a good day everyone.

    :bdaycake: Tired Mum

Congrats/commiserations to those with exam results today, some things are meant to be you know.

Molly (and anyone else with results not what they needed) - Leave it for now, but it could mean a long period for DD to study and not earn. Maybe when she gets earning more, she will feel that it is not always worth it, and working and earning money for travelling, may be better for her in the long run. Not everyone has to have a "career", and some fall into one by accident.

WM been on and bedding out on the line. Burgers for tea :o, probably in the form of a brunch. I'll raid the fridge for lunch for me, DH will either have a sandwich or Carrot & Corriander Soup.

Need to take the car to the main dealers at 3pm for them to look at wind noise from the passenger window while still under warranty. DH took it before, but he can hardly hear it when it is quiet, the wrong pitch for him, he keeps saying when it is loud "what is rattling" there is no rattle it is the wind noise. Luckily I can tune out of most things:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o;);)

Going to tackle the conservatory and put it to rights today after the BBQ, left it until the energy levels returned.

Lou - I think you must try to stop being Mrs Grumpy, and you are only making yourself more unhappy. (((((hugs))))

    Take care all - DG
