Interesting article here about post baby blues in relationships?! Anyone with LO's mind telling us if they found this true? I know, is daily mail so can be interesting to say the least but hmm... My husband is so h*rny that I doubt it very much!
Aargh, my eyes, don't make me read the DM! Ok, I only skimmed the article, it being the DM and all, but we without being too tmi, can report that DH and I have no such issues. Plus we (I!) breastfeed, and we still cosleep, and all is still great between us. Though I had a decent delivery, no stitches or other issues, I think that can have more of an impact.

    Still thinking of pizza! Yum!

We're a vegan family. We do cloth nappies/wipes, dabble with ECing, use toiletries without parabens/SLS etc, co-sleep, baby-wear, BF, BLW, eco-ball laundry, and we plan to home educate (ideally not at home too much - we want to travel the globe).:starmod:

blimey, and another delightful story here!! Can you tell that I'm trying to distract myself here?? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2073907/Christmas-list-Spoilt-girl-13-demands-presents-says-Santa-Claus-die.html

If we were to get lucky, our LO will be nice to Santa and also not getting that much! The mum looks so sad :(

Urgh... what rubbish! That girl really shouldn't be getting anything off Santa Claus since she can't even get his name correct; she's called him Santa Clause... which as everyone knows is the clause that Tim Allen accidentally enters into when he puts Santa's suit on! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I am down in the dumps today feeling really sorry for myself and wishing I had my forever baby. :o

Feel deverstated this cycle as we followed the SMEP to the letter and still nothing.

On other months we were not as good but this month we were and I thought we would have cracked it.

I hate not being able to control things  I like to be able to control most things and take charge this is one thing that I can do nothing about no matter how much we BD or how good I am if the bean doesn't want to be sticky there is NOTHING I can do about it.

Sorry just feel like screaming today aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
If you can think it........it will happen

Not for us it wasn't. I've mentioned this before but I was pregnant with my second when my breastfed eldest was just 4 months old, after a c section, not necessarily intentionally :D

The median age gap in the UK between siblings is 35 months though, so perhaps there is a glimmer of truth there. Most of my friends though had a gap of between 18 months and 2 years between siblings so I suspect a lot of people start ttc before their first child's first birthday, and you'd like to think that means their sex life was back to normal before that decision was made.

To cheer us all up if AF arrives over Christmas, what alcoholic drink is everyone planning to have?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Ooooo! Now I'm spoilt for choice.... Crabbies black or a nice glass of dry white wine or a nice cocktail (as long as there is no rum as I'm allergic to it - one sip of it makes me ill for whole of the next day!)

Bucks Fizz before lunch on the day, wine with the meal, port afterwards. I'm a traditional girl at heart! On the following days I see a lot of wine in my future with the odd G and T or dry Martini thrown in

mmmm mine will be a bucks fizz in the morning, then ale or malibu in the afternoon depends on what my aunt has in (that is if OH agrees that he is driving).
QQ I will be testing either the 24th or 25th, so 'if' (biiiigggg if) I'm successful this month I can take on the driving and then no one will get suspicious about me not drinking.

Can't help with the pizza but I have 6 christmas puddings steaming away, and am about to get started on some mince pies. Have just spent all day cleaning out the kitchen. I've actually found one of the worktops!
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

I'm boring, I don't drink. I have given up 3 years ago on NYE when I mixed red wine, white wine, whiskey, champagne and beer:o. I felt I was dying on NYD, it was horrible, horrible. I haven't touched anything for a year, since than I had 3 glasses of wine. I don't really miss it, and our shopping bill significantly got smaller :D. We bought a bottle of wine and whiskey for Xmas and NYE for friends and have 3 bottles of champagne left from 3 years ago:D.

My friend is on her way home now, she is leaving the country this afternoon for 2 weeks.
