What is happening overnight? Everyone is awake? I was in bed after 10, felt exhausted after watching the Adoption program. I cried and cried and felt so sad that siblings can still be separated and that people after 3 years can just change their minds and send children back to foster homes. It is so not fair, I feel just so sad.

My friend had a scan last night, baby is ok at the moment but there is something underneath the baby which caused enough concern for them to keep her overnight and she has an appointment at the EPU at 8.30 a.m. She ment to go away for 2 weeks today but is delaying her trip. She is 7 weeks pregnant.

I only buy presents for children and OH and my brother. OH is getting the HP dvd set (all 8) and that's it, nothing else, my brother gets a cookery book. We agreed not to spend money on adults, suits me just well. We are trying to pay off our mortgage before baby arrives so every penny counts!

What's with all these night owls?! I go to bed at 11 and can barely stay awake that late, it if wasn't for OH working 'till 10 every night I'd be in bed at 9.30!

I didn't see that adoption programme, will have to catch it on iplayer (was it on the BBC?), although I don't know if I need to be more emotional than I am right now! I *may* be a little up and down with my hormones, last night OH said 'I can't wait for you to go back on your pill so you're a stable human being again!'... he's been spoilt all these years! :rotfl: I think what makes it worse is that he's expecting me to blow up/ dissolve in tears so is being a bit off with me which is making me worse since he's not acting normally.

I was on the pill between the age of 17 and 24, I came off 8 years ago. I was soo much better after, no emotional outburst at all. I will never go back on it again i think.

See I was the opposite Kavics, the pill made me really docile. I have a friend who has to switch pills every 6 months or so as they tend to make her really mental and practically homicidal towards her OH but I've never experienced anything like that. Until now! :rotfl:

Wish I had known the thread was so busy last night, would have popped in for some pie and pizza. I am another night owl, was up til about 4, which was ok until I had to be up and out at 8am, let's just say I over slept.

We don't do presents in our family either, I just give them small gifts (usually xmas cakes), although this year I have got a joint present for my mum, dad and sis, of a barrel of 36 pints of Mild. No idea how on earth they are going to drink that lot, but it was meant to be 18 pints but they gave me 36 pints for the same price as they only had the big polypins available. Oh was really easy to get for this year as I just got him some cricket stuff in the sales at the end of the season, there's nothing else he really wanted except toblerone.

Really ought to vacuum the living room and get on with making some mince pies otherwise I'm going to fall asleep in my chair. Of out tonight as we are shutting the club for the night and we are going out on the music train to the local brewery.
