Kitten_Pie wrote: »Hi all, newbies and lurkers included.
I have read through but my mind has turned to mush today, going to try and get an early night as have a meeting with work tomorrow at middaythink 2 might be early enough. Have done the cooking for all this week and borrowed the steam cleaner from my sil so will be cleaning the next few nights.
Big ((hugs)) and sad faces to all those with BFN and AF.
Hope all goes OK with work. What do you want the outcome of the meeting to be?ok so when i posted last week and said 'not trying not preventing' it turns out that secretly meant 'already 3 weeks pregnant'. That was a little sooner than i expected!!!!
The thing is its indicating 5 weeks but AF was 4 weeks ago. The level of whatchacallit hormone thingy (UHT is milk, HTC is a mobile phone... its something like that?!). Somebody told us that could mean twins? PLEASE TELL ME ITS ONLY ONE BABA!
We're telling parents on Christmas day
And we worked it out and the point we concieved was the first BD without protection in over a year. What are the chances?!
Great news. Congratulations.
Do you mean HPT?0 -

I'm hoping it will just be a friendly catch up 'how you coping?' thing and that they won't pressure me to go back. I have the information stating that I am entitled to the full 52 weeks (I am currently on my 7th). I am also taking OH as I don't really want to travel into London on my own still. (Think I may be a little agoraphobic at the moment)
So far they have been really supportive so I hope I am worrying over nothing.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

When I was pregnant with twins I had no more symptoms including not showing early on a test than a single pregnancy would. If you do have more than one, apart from being a shock it will be a blessing and you will cope fine.
Which test did you get to get +5 weeks, i thought they only showed up to +3 weeks?Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Kitten - it will be another hurdle/ milestone to go back into the workplace. Glad they are being supportive.
As you say, you can have the year off if you need/ want. It's very early days for you.
Will you have time for your OH to treat you to a nice lunch whilst you are out?
How has he got on with his return to work this week?0 -
It is a meeting over lunch so we will get to eat. OH is taking a long lunch and his work are supportive of this
.
Work has been going ok for him however people seem to be avoiding him which is making him feel really isolated. We know people don't know what to say but just saying 'I don't know what to say' helps make him feel less alone and forgotten.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Congratulations bufger!
Relax, those things aren't an exact science, every lady is different and there's also the possibility that she ovulated early in her cycle and/or implanted early after ovulation.
Secrets, :(for cd1
Kitten, I hope the meeting goes well tomorrow. I get agoraphobic when I'm going through things emotionally/mentally and sometimes physically too, don't worry about it, you'll get there. Worrying about it will only worry you more, because you'll be doing the behaviour more, as your body/mind tries to help you process what's happened. You will be ok, this too shall pass, so be nice to yourself in the meantime
Emsbet, you're not allowed to beat yourself up either. What will be will be, there's very little you could do/not do that would mean a different outcome
