Thanks QQ. I could be waiting a while then, I don't think I've ever had it darker than the control line! Maybe I test too late or something, at least I know I've been OVing as I get the temp rise.

Morning all,

I've been AWOL for a bit due to work and well, I find that when it comes around to CD1/2 again, I got a bit crazy and start to relax from the TTC! Im on it though for this month - BRING IT ON!

DW took me out on a suprise date last night, we had all you can eat sushi (my favourite thing to do when I get my period!) and she took me to see that new movie 'ONE DAY' - well I wont spoil it for those of you that havent seen it, but I boohoo'd through quite a bit of it. Had to get DW to check mascara streaks as we left the cinema.

And without going into TOO much detail again, I boohoo'd when we got home, because I am stupid - and I was worried it would be us!

OH and I am struggling to temp. How do you do it? I wake up and immediate thought is 'God I need a pee' - so I jump out of bed... and of course, by then, its too late. What's your secret to temping please?

I don't always temp straight away. I take the thermometer to the loo with me often. You will need to test it and see how you go. Some people are affected big time by a difference like that. Others like me and QQ aren't ...

I've found even if I temp within the first 5 mins is within 0.02C of if I do it while still in bed. Personally I leave the thermometer propped against the alarm clock so you see it when you look at the time and hit snooze.

As for temping, it's a habit I suppose, perhaps ask your DW to remind you? You could temp while peeing I suppose, I've done it:p but may not be so accurate:o
And yes I try to do it at the same time except for some weekends:o
