    CONGRATULATIONS Nicki! :D
Weren't you telling us this cycle that you looked at his swimmers under a microscope after dtd and convinced yourself there was a problem?! :p

    CONGRATULATIONS COLLI! :j
Brilliant news :D Really happy for you :D

Maire, sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that they want you to take a ttc break :( did they explain why?

Welcome Isla  and anyone else that snook in while I wasn't looking ;)

Hope the SA sample comes back free and clear mrs...? (i get confused between all the mrs :o sorry :o)

    2b, I hope you're feeling a bit better?

 to everyone I've not mentioned by name, I'm on my phone and it's easier said than done :p

AFM I'm experiencing ov symptoms, but finding it hard to believe given my PCOS track record... Dtd regardless, but it would be nice to know for sure... Trying to stay relaxed again this cycle (we'll see how that goes :p) , I reckon we've enough stress going on with out piling it on myself!

Mil told me today that she'd told my dh to get checked (fertility wise) recently, so ended up telling her we'd made an appointment... She and dh's dad struggled to have kids (lost twins at 5 months and then took another few years to get dh, who is an only child), which I knew, but today she told me Fil's SA sample came back saying they were good quality but not enough of them...wonder if it's just cos he smoked...?

:o:o sorry to post a premature result yesterday as my test with FMU this morning was a definite BFN. I know it is still very early (9dpo) to get an accurate result one way or another, but as of this morning I can't say that I am pregnant after all :(

Have googled the brand of test (onestep) which I got from Amazon and there are lots of reports of them giving false positives or misleading results early on, so definitely will not be buying them again.

So back to symptom spotting until next week when the arrival or not of AF will give the answer I guess. For some bizarre reason my last 4 BBTs have all been identical to the second decimal point. Don't know why that should be.

    ((hugs)) Nicki.
Did you use the same brand of test today? How many have you done? I thought that false negatives were more common than false positives.
I hope today's test was the dodgy one.

Aw nicki. As emsbet says hopefully its todays test that is wrong, false positives are unusual. x

Yes it was the same brand today. It was the batch that gave me shadowy lines last month which faded after a few minutes, so they are clearly a bit dodgy.

I read on one site that this brand had a 2% false positive rate, which is quite high i think, as on most tests false positives are rare though they do happen with all brands I think.

I have some clearblue digitals but I don't want to waste one yet, as 9dpo is almost certainly too early to trigger a positive on one, as they are not as sensitive.
  • Aww nicki I'm with emsbet too, hoping the second test is the dodgy one.

    Cd1 for me today QQ.

This is last chance saloon month for me. I'm going to religiously follow smep, use preseed and I remembered that at my last smear the nurse mentioned that my womb was tilted. Theres conflicting advice about whether it's best for women with tilted wombs to lay on their back or stomach after bding so im going to do alternates!
