What esio trot says. If you buy the strips from the Internet, they can show very faint positives early, but are also notorious for evap lines and for being hard to read. The super drug ones are as sensitive but are designed like a more expensive midstream test, like a clearblue or FRER so the results tend to be much less ambiguous.

I use midstream tests from Amazon which were about £12 for 25 I think. So they are cheap but also a bit easier to use and to read than a genuine IC, though even with these I got some evaps and shadowy lines last month which all turned out to be BFNs. I have 4 digis hidden away for when I get my BFP and the next 3 weeks after it (fingers crossed)

Hope everyone is good, a very strange thing happened to me today, apologies for way TMI before I start, feel free not to read! Well, I had a bit of a sneezing fit today at work and thought I had dribbled a little bit, as does sometimes happen , but it felt a bit strange ( a bit like when you have a wee clot with AF) so I went off to the loo and had a huge blob of really thick creamy CM, there's not much been going on with CM the last couple of days and this was a lot all to appear at once. Very strange, I have no idea how that happened, I don't think I've had anything like that before. Aahhhh, something else for me to wonder about now I am paying attention to what my body is doing!

I'm guessing we will as we were both due on Tuesday like yourself. AF came 17th Oct as cd 1 so calculated from this and with a 30 day cycle as that is what has been this month. I got 25th July I think it was.

I bought two tests on my way home. It was a small boots pharmacy, they had their own brand or CB, so I got the boots ones. Anyone know if they are any good?

Also, I was thinking I would do one test tonight (as soon as I need a wee) because surely....if I genuinely am 6 days late it would show up any time of day right?

Or should I be good and wait til the morning?

If you were testing before your period was due then it would have to be FMU as thats when HCG is meant to be strongest but I *think* if it's after your period was due then you should be able to test at any time and the hcg levels be strong enough to show a positive.

FF gave me EDD of 28th July I think, that's IF I get a BFP this month, CD1 for me was the 20th Oct, so I'm CD 23 just now, my cycles have been 26-28days, I have no idea why I fill my head with all these numbers, when I can't get things together enough to write an essay for uni :rotfl:

It's up to you hun, but if you are 6 days late I'm guessing it should show at anytime. Just early morning wee is supposed to contain more HCG. I tested this afternoon at 10dpo, my period is due Tuesday, and I got a tiny line but still a line. Sure it should show but everyones different I guess x

I'm exactly same as Rebekah. AF due Tuesday, 10dpo and previous was 30 day cycle.

That's what I like about this thread - there's never a problem with TMI and probably the only place you feel right to say it exactly how it is! :rotfl:

7dpo I had this! Only when it dropped down the loo it more was like jelly and had fresh blood in it. But I thought nowt of it as I had nothing on tissue or undies.
