A member of HR, tbh she's my OH's ex and it's quite apparent she doesn't like me and I don't normally let it bother me but to be called over the tannoy system to see a manager to be told I can't do shopping whilst on my break really peed me off, especially considering what I was buying. She's just a trout. lol.
Sounds like it! Did she even manage to make up a reason as to why you shouldnt be shopping on a break? Ive never heard something so ridiculous!
If I was you Id probably buy a pregnancy test next time and make sure I waved that under her nose seeing as she's his ex :rotfl:0 -
Do you think you can ovulate the day after having the implant out? The doctor said it was possible to fall pregnant straight away cos i told her we had bd'd yesterday morning so I'm wondering if I have cos I had a pain on the left side where i still have an ovary and i have a lot of cm, although i don't know how you tell the different types but it felt almost like i was leaking so i went and bought some panty liners when i was on my lunch break at work (I also got told off for doing so as apparently I'm not allowed to do any shopping in my lunch break including buying sanitary products) maybe im just symptom spotting but for af rather than bfp lol i dunno x
I have heard it is possible to fall pregnant very quickly after having the implant out as the hormone level reduces rapidly on removal. I have had a few clients recently who have had a bfp within a month. Also, any BDing during the few days before removal can leave live swimmers, so if you ov quickly after removal and there are strong swimmers in there it is a possibility. That was a big rambly answer when a simple yes would have done!A member of HR, tbh she's my OH's ex and it's quite apparent she doesn't like me and I don't normally let it bother me but to be called over the tannoy system to see a manager to be told I can't do shopping whilst on my break really peed me off, especially considering what I was buying. Firstly welcome walby and jen77
Secondly, fannyanna we've missed you too! How you doing? When you coming back to us?
Thirdly, that woman on the article gives a bad name to women of that age!! emsbet you've almost done a full week back now, was it better than you feared?
Colli, I think we were both being optimisticthe longer this weird spotting goes on, the more convinced I am that it's an anovulatory cycle
I have af cramps and spotting and such, but no real af, and it's timed an LP after the ewcm I had, and I had more pcos-type acne at "ov" time and less sore boobs afterwards than I've had on ovulatory cycles
So I was rather mopey this afternoon and tried to cheer myself up by watching Happy Feet (which I have permanently saved on the sky+ box for just such an occasion
).
It's becoming glaringly obvious that I can't do this by myself, so me and hubby have decided to make an appointment at the gp's for next week to get referred back to the gynae:( You know it's gone a step beyond, when you're not only jealous of the pg ladies, but also of the ladies with af!

Oh and jen77, apparently if you take your temp in the more ..intimate...area, they're more accurate, which may help more with you doing shift work. A mate took them like that cos she had insomnia and would grab sleep at random times and then temp, and it worked for her. Think the only thing she stuck to was the "after at least 3hrs" rule. She now has a 10 month old after only dtd twice on ov day during her whole cycle!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

It's been ok thanks. Not had insensitive comments so that's good. A few people have said some nice things but most have avoided the subject. I'd rather they said something but I know that sometimes people don't know what to say or if they should say anything.
Sorry to hear you're having a cr*ppy time. I know you wanted to do it yourself but if the doctors can help you get your baby then it's only a good thing. I know if there turns out to be a genetic (or similar) reason that we keep losing our babies we will definitely be going down the assisted route.

Welcome walby and jen!
((hugs)) to all those with AF (Or not, as the case may be...)
Glad your week hasn't been too bad emsbet. I think you're right about people not knowing what to say - I'm one of those awkward people who never know what to say when something bad has happened, I'm always envious of those people who always seem to come up with the perfect thing.
BigZ - I'm fine thanks, thanks for asking!
Working from home today, which is nice as I usually have an hour each way commute, which can be tiring. So I can pop on here and keep up for once!Only thing is it's a bit chilly sitting here, as opposed to my office which is roasting all year round!
I was at the gym the other night and my trainer pointed out his partner, who was going for it on the cross-trainer - at 37 weeks pregnant!! Now I'm all for keeping as active as possible, but my god, I'd be taking advantage of the chance to rest up a bit by that stage, I think! Good on her, though - she looks great. (LOL let's see if my trainer expects me to do the same....!)
That Daily Mail article made me smile/gasp! What a nutter that woman is! I can't believe she included the names and photos of her exes too, I bet they went mental!
Have a good day everyone, it's friday, hooray! :j

There's nothing wrong with asking for a bit of help if you need it . You've done so well with all the weight loss but sometimes our bodies just need a little push. If you end up pg straight away after treatment then you'll be kicking yourself for not going sooner so go for it!
:eek: for cross training pregnant woman. I don't know if I'd find that inspirational or just plain annoying! Probbaly the latter
Dancing at the weekend sounds good Emsbet
